Bitcoin or at least a BIP for a solution you can create more issues than you solve atm the block chain is safe

I agree, hope that's not why the attakers are doing it; hoping the devs will introduce a real loophole while trying to patch this one!

I tried to change the blue in the logo, I like it as it is actually, specially when small (16x16 and such), but it looks so so when larger...

Too bad we can't change avatar!

That does look good! If you are interested in contributing some BLC graphics and such, I started a thread for that just check the link in my SIG. I will upload .xcf source files soon

Will be nice to get more pools going to spread out the load more. More so when a single pool spikes to more then half the network.

I am interested in hosting a pool. I have a server and domain available, just need to learn about running pools. Do you know of any good resources for getting started?

maybe we can also work on a guide for setting up a pool specifically for Blakecoin Smiley

and

but you do need quite a few tweaks

I have sent kr105 a couple of messages now, think its a stuck share that is effecting the front end and causing issues on the display but it does need maintenance asap  Undecided

Will this coin be ASIC-mineable?

maybe one day but not any time soon, when it does the asic's for Blake-256 will use less silicon space, will be faster, cheaper per chip and use less power than current SHA-256D asic's at the same manufacturing process  Cool

Ok, so Im total noob when it comes to mining. But I think I've might have made it work. Althou, the pool website went down shortly after I began mining (?)

Anyways, does this look right for a HD5750 graphics card? (I censored my username just in case)

Awesome!
Im glad to finally have found a coin with a distribution model like this. It should prevent the early adopters from controlling the major quantities, and also keep it interesting to mine for the regular people. Good stuff!
