your welcome to go make some volume, I have no control over market price and with so many country/scam/premine/BS coins in coinmarketcap I think its a bad way to judge a coin but you are most welcome to go find "Most Profitable coin" based on coinmarketcap based on P&D manipulated prices if you want  Cheesy

Last night I was enlightened by someone about Blakecoin and the future potential of the blake256 algorithm, so I've switched my mining rig to full time blc! Just wanted to report my hashrates for anybody with a similar setup looking for ball park numbers, I'm very impressed with the blake256 efficiency so far: high hash rates, low temps. I'm using the kR105 cgminer and running BAMT 1.5.2, it was actually quite easy to switch from scrypt to blake256 - I'm impressed.

I have 4x Gigabyte R9 270s:

I'll be happy to share my config if anybody with 270s is interested, just ask.

Excuse me... just one question... How could you get working kr105 cgminer from the moment it's x64 and BAMT 1.5.2 is 32 bit (as far as i know)?

Trying to do the same with SMOS 1.3 but I get error "cannot execute binary file" that seems it's right due to different architectures...

Thank you!

LETS GET ONE A FEW THINGS STRAIGHT HERE ----

ALTHOUGH 2 OTHERS POINTED THIS OUT I WILL ECHO IT A 3RD TIME

ATOMIC IS ONE OF THE BEST RUN EXCHANGES IF NOT THE BEST OUT THERE

NO ID OR VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO TRACE CRYPTOCURRENCY VS CRYPTOCURRENCY

YOU CAN ACCESS IT ON TOR (TRY THAT ON SOME OTHERS....)
AND THEY DON'T LIST JUNK /GARBAGE COINS AND MAKE FAKE BUY ORDERS TO CUT OUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

TRY GOING TO CRYPTSY AND LAYING OUT SOME BUY OR SELL ORDERS OR BTCE......

THE BOTS WILL ALWAYS TRY TO SQUEEZE YOU OUT,  YOU MAY GET YOUR ORDER THROUGH EVENTUALLY BUT ATOMIC DOES NOT PULL THESE STUNTS

SO WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE Huh  HONESTY Huh   INTEGRITY Huh   SECURITY Huh?   A FULLY LICENSED AMERICAN COMPANY Huh

IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT HAVING YOUR IDENTITY TRACED YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING OR TRADING CRYPTOCURRENCY

IT IS NOT PRIVATE, ANNONYMOUS, EVEN IF YOU CONNECT TO THE NETWORK THROUGH TOR AND BOUNCE COINS FROM ONE ADDRESS OR EXCHANGE TO ANOTHER LIKE A PING PONG BALL........

IT IS OFF TOPIC HERE SO I WON'T GO INTO DETAIL BUT EVERYTIME YOU CONNECT YOUR CLIENT TO A COIN NETWORK YOU ARE GIVING OUT INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF AND PROBABLY YOUR LOCATION (UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW A LOT ABOUT PRIVACY AND SECURITY AND BELIEVE ME EVEN THEN IT IS STILL POSSIBLE TO TRACE PEOPLE IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING)

PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND......PERSONALLY I HAVE NEVER NO WOULD I EVER GIVE MY ID TO AN EXCHANGE......

I STAY IN THE SHADOWS...... AND I LIKE IT THAT WAY SO I RESPECT OTHERS WHO DO TOO......

JUST UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENT SHADES OF LIGHT YOU ARE IN EVERY TIME YOU FIRE UP TO MINE OR CONNECT TO A COIN NETWORK.

I dont like atomic trade
We need to send ID  Undecided
You dont need to send them anything to trade there.

Check out my coin Photon
Merge Mine 5 other Blake 256 coins - 6x your hash power  https://www.blakecoin.org/

The obvious choice is not always the best choice.

BlueDragon & Kramble,  i got a different cable but ise impact still gives the same error. Im thinking the problem is the programmer. It is a DLC9G clone, on the circuit board it says Tom-tech by Stone, whatever the hell that means. Is it possible that this cheap knockoff is defective/incompatible? The DONE1+2 lights come on when i power up the icarus board. I suppose I should hook it up to see if it works with bitcoin mining, since that  is almost certainly what its programmed for currently. The jtag headers are not likely to be the problem, since i have considerable soldering experience and they look fine. I have tried different versions of ise and different computers, all with the same error, so i dont think the problem is on that end. unless its because i installed the wrong ise suite, i chose the embedded development suite. could it be the com port settings, ie baud rate, data bits, flow control, etc? from what i was reading, it seems like maybe the programmer is not giving valid boundary scan settings or failing a checksum. is there a way to program the programmer? i tried forcing impact to flash the cpld firmware (v. 1303), and it seemed to succeed, but made no difference. i read on amazon comments that someone else who bought the same usb programmer said they had to download the latest MPLab code and then it worked, but i have no idea what he meant since MPLab seems to be for PIC controllers. could it be possible that ise impact is detecting that the programmer is a knock off and thus terminating the boundary scan as some sort of DRM measure? If you agree its the programmer, which one would you suggest, DLC10, digilent, or something else? I am used to troubleshooting computers but have never worked on fpgas, so im at a bit of a loss here. if you could tell me what steps to take to narrow down which piece of the puzzle is at fault, that'd be extremely helpful and ill gladly donate some blc for the help Smiley

BlueDragon & Kramble

It seems to me that you have not yet ruled out that the icarus itself may be faulty. The two done lights indicate that the FPGAs are loading the bitstream from ROM, so they should be working, however it is possible that the JTAG I/O is damaged on the FPGA silicon which is a show stopper. Another possibility is that there is a broken PCB trace/via. As discussed upthread with Blue, the JTAG is brought out to both the header and the edge connector, it's likely the edge connector was used to factory-program the ROMs (or they may even have been pre-programmed prior to assembly/solder reflow) so a broken trace to the header may have been present since manufacture.

I don't use the USB programmer myself  (I built one of these though beware that it requires a motherboard printer port, not an adapter). I do have a DLC9G clone, but I've not used it. I'll have a play with it later and get back to you...

EDIT ...
OK, I tried it out on my XP/SP3 box with ISE 14.4 (P.49d) and my Lancelot (6 pin SIL header). It just worked fine. Driver installation was a little messy (three times through the wizard), but was all automatic. Green LED on connecting cable. Run IMPACT File/NewProject. JTAG chain detected automatically and bitstream download takes 10 seconds (compare 2 minutes for the parallel port cable). I don't know what else to suggest here, it's either a faulty DLC9G clone or a faulty icarus.

It is a DLC9G clone, on the circuit board it says Tom-tech by Stone

I opened my DLC9G programmer cable(mine is also a cheap clone) and the board says "XILINX Platform Cable USB v2.5 2013-03-29"

have you checked the continuity from the programmer pins though to the jtag?

I would double check it mines sha-256d before doing anything more to it though

I compiled my working version of the X6500 miner into EXEs to make it a little more simple.

If anyone is interested you can download the package here:

Please read the README and let me know how it works for you.

Also open to any suggestions.
