I think it's depend in what coin you holding. Holding is good and effective when you have invested into the right coins, research first what coin you want hold, read the project and roadmap.

People are upset because they lack patience, even you are holding a good coin which has a good potential in the future, there are times
that the price will dump, this happens when bitcoin dump but that would not mean it will not progress, wait for the right time because it will come.

Now i am not believing any coins all coins are manipulating whales are dumping coins based on their strategy . Its also applicablin normal market  . Now some good working project like POS token and Centra Became nothing . I lost lots of money in those Projects .

I agree with Tipster that for certain coin the moon only appear at some stage of the coin's life, once missed never to return again. I hold some xspec @ US$2.50 when it went up to 6.00 plus I didn't take profit and eventually have to cut painfully loss at 1.00. After this painful lesson,my conclusion is only  good coins with very sound fundamentals worth holding and even then I would definitely take profit when their prices reach exorbitant level.

Because your coins is bullshit too,that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.Do a lot of research find new potential coins or projects only invest to good projects,read whitepaper check the team,the current developments and im sure your holdings will give you much better outcome.

I agree. Try buying the top five coins and hold it for 1 year. I am sure you will see the difference but of course don't buy on top and wait for a falling price.

Holding is for more then 1 year - good option. separate ur depo for 70/30. 30 for trading, 70 fopr holding and take profits. hehe

The most important thing is to be able to allocate the necessary coins, analyze the market. And do not think that all the coins as bitcoin in the future will increase sharply. And whales and stuff the hat, they only temporarily affect the rate, their goal is to make locally, not globally. They're temporarily interfering with the course for profit.

Sell them if you gain profits from them. Never hodl coins or tokens that doesn't back up by a good project and might be drive by hypes and be a target of the money makers out there.

Holding is a very good thing, but holding wrong coins is not.
So do your homework and track the development of the coins in your possession.

Personally, i believe that holding is the best way to earn profit IF you hold true promising coins ,a coin that worth it to hold,in holding you must be wise enough and analize the market,no one can predict the price so only you who can make right decisions.
