The long anticipated IOS update arrived out of the blue. Zero shill, zero effect on the price. Im starting to unload my stack.

They still haven't even posted it on Twitter. This coin is really fitting in with the sub-top300 coins already.

Maybe they should hire Jean Luc to do the marketing for them.  He always brings the good and the positive news on Gulden.

If it wasn't for him i would have known almost nothing on how it is going on with Gulden.

yes I know why :

1st  it's because of the infamous Rijk the founder.
He treats people like rubish, bans people from slack for nothing ... etc. He is social impaired.
A lot of people leave, and now share the bad buzz around the G , only because of Rijk attitude

2nd it's because of the delays. v2.0 is now more than 1 year late !! so lot of people are frustrated, and do not trust anymore the announcement !

Oh wow, I didn't know about that...thanks for the great info. Maybe this project is going to fail in the long term, I don't see why would anyone use gulden when there are more than 1500 different crypto out there

Dont listen to forum trolls. Rijk bans people from Slack because they are misbehaving (Like shilling other coins than NLG). Most likely Fantonas misbehaved in the Slack Channels and got banned, now hes doing all he can to troll NLG.

NLG is one of the best high potential with highest possible low risk/high reward ratio in my opinion.

I do not know what is the opposite of a troll... may be a Blind Lovers. TheFraction is a blind lovers , he invest more than he should in the gulden,and he is now frustrated to lost money , or not make profit. This is why he haunted the forum with "hidden gems" "to the moon" "best coin of the world", and stupid argument  just to create FOMO. By this way he hopes that newcomer will invest in the gulden, and may be save his investment.

Just so you know. Slack has nothing to do with the Gulden Blockchain. Stop your ignorance, this thread is about Gulden, not about a website to communicate on.

It's quite simple, truth is, NLG is still a hidden gem, which is way too undervalued. If you'd compare the tech between Gulden and any other coin, you'll find out yourself.


The only thing different from other coins is that the creators do not shill the coin and then bust out, so you go ahead and enrich the shitcoin creators, Ill put my money where the future is.

I both understand Fantonas and TheFraction.

I was also kicked from Slack and not because i misbehaved but i only asked a few questions to Rijk and without any kind of warning ( i do not know what i should be warned for also ) he kicked me.  I only wanted to meet other Gulden users / investors and talk and discuss about Gulden.  I thought that was the purpose of Slack but guess i was wrong.

After that i almost sold all my Gulden but now i bought them back and even more (100k+) 

Why?  Because i still like Gulden and think it i is a very good coin with very bad marketing and i still think the good will win it over the bad in the end.  Luckily Gulden= not Rijk and Rijk = Not Gulden and there are more ppl involved so i got over Rijk and his behaviour and i do not care about him anymore.  I still want Gulden to be a coin that is used by a lot of ppl in the world and i think it is going to happen also sooner or later.

Questions for Fantonas, RichPissman and KrustyTheClown if he is still around: 

1) Did you own a lot of Gulden in the past
2) Do you still own Gulden
3) Do you think Gulden is a good coin? And if yes or no why?
4) Do you think Gulden is a scam?
5) Is it possible for you to let the past the past and quit bashing Gulden for all those people who do like Gulden and think it is a good coin with or without Rijk.

And now some other thing.  When i went to slack i wanted also to meet people to buy a strong buying wall with to strengthen the price of Gulden.  Are there maybe ppl here who also want to do that and want to talk about strategies for Gulden or other coins in the future.  If you want to do that with me and maybe others PM me.

Yes I bought just a bit , and mining for more than 1 year now. So yes I have few K gulden

3) Do you think Gulden is a good coin? And if yes or no why?
At the begining I thought it was a very very good coin, but may be I was a little bit too optimistic. As I made conference on crypto I always spoke about gulden. Now I am more realistic , and I did not speak about gulden since a lot.
As I said a lot of time I think gulden is a good coin , but all around gulden is not, this is why is so frustrated.
Good : Technical side of gulden, and the association with nock are good .
Very Bad : Rijk , communication , Rijk ,  marketing, Rijk, lies about the slack and others ... , opaque management of the premine coin and all around   
If you have a realistic view (without to be Pro or Con) you must see that is not a very healthy coin : trade volume are lower then it was and very low , online wallet are far away from what it was, active user on slack only about 400 , and do not forget the rank it was 80 last year sinking near 300 today. I know that few shitcoins are better ranked than gulden , and this is why is so frustrating people has most interest for this shitcoin than gulden. Now image remove the bad side of the gulden and imagine how it could be ranked today.

4) Do you think Gulden is a scam?
For some reason yes :
-The release is a good exemple, how Rijk can said expected to April 2017 , June 2017 , September 2017 , Dec 2017 , Feb 2018 , soon ... and still nothing ?! A) he is stupid and do not understand anything about dev B) he was too optimistic and promise a lot only with this goal : sell the premine.
-The Premine : All around the premine , ... it's suppose to be for air drop , for the marketing , finally it was sell against BTC , the management it's too opaq, where is the financial report , what did Rijk with the 600 Btc ... etc ...

I do not feel bashing Gulden.I just try to warm people that gulden is not very heathly, and hope to be more honest than peope who said "to the moon" , "hidden gem" , "investment that you find only one time in your life" But Bashing Rijk Yes as much as I can

I think Fantonas and RichPissmann have a lot of points what Gulden/Rijk did wrong in the past and they tell that to people.  Lucky for us this is not Slack and it can be said.

I think they both want Gulden to succeed but hate the dictatorial behaviour of Rijk.

And yes, I definitely realize this is a niche sport but this is exactly the sort of community update I look forward to each time with coins like Gulden. If that’s the best for the coin. I don’t know. On the one hand it should grow naturally as it does. With a strong community. Moving mountains, step by step.
On the other hand, a higher price is desirable for the coin. To make it really a workable alternative payment system. ‘Cause with current low pricing a company has to own a lot of coins, thus the market, to make a larger payment.
Gulden has a strong base. Good technology and great wallets. Did you notice the iOS wallet synchs in seconds now?
So, let’s keep working, together and make the difference.

I normally only bring the news, so above and below is kind of my personal view on it, so no trading advise. Make your own choices!

Gulden is evolving more and more into a kind of structure alike how Linux works. The dev team released the project on Github. So everybody can add to the code. I believe that not everything is published yet, but nlg is heading towards a real community driven project. Everybody can add to the project, like programmer Eli did recently. The benefit is that the project can move and develop faster, but with a core team watching over changes like with Linux. But still being a decentralised currency.
Best of both worlds imho.

But as said. Do your own research and invest wisely. Good luck. 😘

Maybe organize a "Gulden festival" or a festival where you can only pay with Gulden so people have to download the app and buy Gulden and you can also buy Gulden there as tokens.  Would be a nice test how it wil work if you organize it like that.

One of the community members reached out to rapper Boef last year, and he actually bought NLG and posted some stuff about it on social media. So try with just reaching out to your favorite artists/influencers.
