Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

And the exchange volume of Franko (FRK) increases a lot these last days. A good coin, with a constant gain in popularity.

more like toy money buying toy money. But yeah, CAD is not backed by gold or etc. In fact they do not have enough gold to back anything, being at the bottom of top 100 gold reserve list.

LTC is redundant shit and about the least exciting coin on the planet.  I am grateful it come into being, since the plethora of scrypt-alts that it spawned have made me alot of BTC and fiat, but if we are gonna have a #2 coin, can't it offer something a little more than (BTCx4) + scrypt?

Looks like LTC reached its limit. The only reason it went up from $1 in Oct/nov 2013 was because of the anticipation that the chinese would start buying it like they did with BTC. I have no idea why it's staying so high now. Too many people are waiting to buy up cheap LTC is probably the reason.

And it could the same fate as LTC down the road if not sooner.

Of course talking like a 2 year old like "much wow, much money"... its hard to take it serious.

LTC was created as ASIC resistance. But ASICs for it already exists. Why then need LTC ?
Scrypt asic takes up a shitload of ram. If there ever comes out a 1mh/s machine, it will cost more than $1000, which is not profitable.

ASICs for scrypt cost about 4000$ for 6Mh/s now (Gridseed GC3355). But then the price will fall.
Details you can find in Google.
No information except that this things mine at 60KH/s, could you provide a link?

I'm glad this thread is back up and running, the doge brigade and the old gang that were calling litecoin dead at $1.70 is a great indicator that a price rise is coming. Excellent !  Grin

Only a matter of time before Vertcoin takes over Litecoin's position, unless Litecoin creates a new marketing campaign:

much litecoin
