ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017.

I think this is pretty obvious for everybody who is following the markets.

The gold times of 2017 with easy x10-20 in just few weeks after the ICO are over. Now we must be much more careful. Still, finance and gambling ICO's are showing great ROI.

Yes situation has changed, but I think now the projects are filtered and there are some more organized and more promising ICOs on the market, people became more experienced in the area, so I think that it is good trend. For me now it is better time for ICO investments as so called "boom" is over. I am always following www.icoguide.com not to miss good projects.

I agree that 2018 is not the same as 2017, but it is for the better I think. Theres more carefully crafted solutions in ICOs right now. But amount of them is really too big - there should be some institution to hold them all.

Totally agree. And I guess rating platforms should became more realistic about rates not to confuse people. Some rates are more realistic, for example: www.icobench.com and www.icoguide.com, but I think we should see more transparency.

Ico in 2018 will not be as easy as in 2017.Currently, the market is still in the downtrend phase. Almost altcoins prices are down along with btc price. It is not uncommon for you to see a lot of ICOs on the market when selling ICOs. But if it's a good project then it's definitely going to be x10 or something like the Ontology project.

It all happened because most of investors and bounty hunter sell them right away after ICO, this what made the rice dropped. But I believe that this industry is growing and its getting better.

This statement is quite true. The ICO nowadays have a huge difference compare to last year since there are huge volume of ICO launching every single month. Its ironic that there are plenty investors still believe on that kind of set up since it is a high risk high reward scheme.

I have heard, one of the world leader from some government's said, that ICO process is already old and non trustworthy, so they have decided that they need to transform ICO into something different.

The way how I think others would execute it is by way of waiting for the said dip specially if they know that the ICO has bounty programs, if the ICO has no bounty and you feel that it has good plans and good road maps for their company and products then I would say go for it. It is never too late for an investor to invest late after the ICO ended through different exchanges.

Because people have more experience in the field, they usually focus on potential projects, this causes the value of the token to not be inflated too much, profit from ico is very little in 2018, I have the feeling people are gradually wanting to abandon investment in ico. I no longer see the boom somewhere in the field, investors have been too careful and no longer invest a lot of money while scam projects become more, everything is helping us see a bad future about ico, perhaps early abandonment of the ico project is a wise decision at this stage

ICO on ethereum platform is relatively new though there having been many ICO in the past before erc20 token generation. I still believe there will be more turns and twists in ICO projects in the future. One thing for sure however is ICO has come to stay and it will become better and better!

It is because of this crazy trend that the fraudsters are arrogant, and various fraudulent ICOs are released one by one. Yes, I did discovered that prices do dip after a while of exchange launching. Let's not forget we are still in a bearish market, I think the down trend in the market is affecting prices at launch because everyone is careful about the market. I still love to buy ICOs so as to get discount and follow up the project.

Of course not the same as the system works, when we see Market conditions in 2017 and 2018 are very much different, In the first half of 2017 there were fewer people participating in an ico and fewer people in the crypto world, but the number of icos in significantly less, and valuation cheaper, but personally, I am still patient with Crypto, we can hold them for a long time. We will succeed if we have enough patience.

At this moment we cannot say that the ICOs in 2017 is not same as of now 2018. Maybe a lot of people thinking this because of the price of crypto currencies now at the market that is too low but we cannot predict what will happen in the next days weeks or months there are still time and days that can crypto can rise again its price so people will continue supporting a lot of ICOs even in the future for the good of crypto currencies

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

You should go through the roadmap of any coin before investing in it always. You should see how it has organized its whole projection. Try coins like PRG, ICX etc that are going great this year. You will be surprised by their exceptional gains.

I had high hopes for some projects in 2018, but many failed! Fell 80% off the ICO price! I could now buy 5 times more coins than on the ICO! It's sad!

Never compare something without complete knowledge. It is the same; market crashes, coins, except that some coins like TAU, ADA and QSP are well managed and have a great future due to their non-stop hardwork.

That's really obvious, why should they be similar? This year is enormously difficult for ICOs to survive, hitting 60-70% of hardcap is already a good result.
