In 2018 there is no growth seen in crypto world. It affects to all. A coin has good concept but this has no matter. It will fall with other. You should have patience. If you buy good coins then it will give growth.
2017 was not like 2018. It was good for crypto. Your choice of coins may be bad.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Hope this helps to the new investors thinking of ICOs

We share the same opinion, investors are more investing into exchange now, because they knew the price will dip the moment bounty hunters dump their token, sometimes it's much lower than the ICO price, but of course this is not the general rule, there's still a lot of profitable ico in the market today.

It is quite normal to expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who work in bointy programs to promote the ICOs and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC in return for it. This is how the cycle had been working until today.

I totally agree with you. You’re correct that the ICO tokens will have a big dip months after the launched in the market. Many bounty hunters are trading their tokens right after the launched of the project not knowing that if they hold their tokens a few more months the value of their tokens will go up compared the price after the launched. If they will do that many Good project will be available in the market and many tokens value will go high. I hope the bounty hunters will understand I how the trading and selling of tokens will go.

In 2018, many more ICOs are growing rapidly. It is likely to double amounts of the ICOs in 2017. Now,, scams are also everywhere that can some investors afraid to invest their money in ICO. Whereas, investing in a legit and trusted ICO will really make us double profits to reach. ICO is actually very profitable if we can really investigate the best one and reduce the scam potential. Now, I don't want to think that ICO is very difficult to find. I will think of how to analyze the right ICO and then invest it to hold for some months or year.

A true observation. I also came to such conclusions. You can certainly choose ICO more carefully. Some make very good profits. This will allow the current market to support its bankroll.

Yes...this year, of course, can not be compared with last year 2017, when ico and altcoins shot at the price dozens of times.... But this year is not over yet...I hope we have good times ahead of us..

The gold times of 2017 with easy x10-20 in just few weeks after the ICO are over. Now we must be much more careful. Still, finance and gambling ICO's are showing great ROI.

The apps with Dapp idea and new blockchain technologies (e.g. quark) have a positive feedback. In general, this is a normal situation. The world's changing, and such new markets are changing 3 times faster. It's a necessity, which protects them against death and decline. It's the only way to survive, everything will be harder if more interesting next!

It is a fact that in 2018 most of the ICO are unprofitable but investing in a legitimate and trusted ICO will really make us gain a double gain. we must invest too cautiously because too many projects look good changed in fraudulent projects. I also experience that, some coins promise the first time the coin gets into the trading site will be the price of ico.

Right? I have the same feelings. I don't have any ICO which tokens went up, I only know ICOs where the price went absolutely to the ground. I wonder if the situation is like this because of general market issues or because people don't trust new projects anymore, we have very many of them here.

It is very ordinary to anticipate that the ICO tokens will have a plunge in cost amid the initial couple of long stretches of their dispatch. It is a result of the abundance members that the value fall on the grounds that there are numerous individuals who work in bointy projects to advance the ICOs and afterward when the tokens/coins are propelled in the trades, the general population dump it to receive BTC as a byproduct of it. This is the way the cycle had been working until today.

I agree with you. All ICO's I invested now are traded below the purchase price. And this makes me very sad.

In any case, would we be able to truly investigate the market here discussing ico. Ico is starting coin offer and that implies it is another prologue to the crypto advertise. Accordingly, the market (crypto showcase) can't be investigated close by the ico coin which will be truant right now of examination since it was yet to go to the market. With this little examination, we can see that dissecting another coin with crypto showcase won't generally apply dissimilar to fx that you talked about. Each cash in Fx exchange can be dissected in light of the fact that they are constantly present and exchanged, the history can be taken a gander at for examination.

most ico coin prices are still very cheap when first entering the market, so to be able to rise and be able to exceed the price of ico coin it does require something for volume and also market interest to be higher one of them is to launch from the project itself whether it is platform or others
then holding is strongly advised because the more developments made by the project itself the coin price will be more expensive

Yes the difference between 2017 and 2018 is great because it is easy for the money market to attract fraudsters.

The point made above seems to be true, most of the ICOs I have invested into the year have lost significant percentage of their value, but the issue now is when are we hitting the bottom, because the prices seems to be dropping every week. Look at Cardstak, DAOStack, 0Chain etc for example their prices just keep coming down

If there is no value in the idea, product, business, or people behind it, there is no bottom that's not zero. Ultimately most of this stuff is either misguided garbage or outright scams.

Any financial specialist who has invested a lot of energy pursuing ICOs and exchanging Cryptocurrencies knows this a sound procedure to take after, dismissing those few tasks that their costs never plunged. In any case, the inquiry/issue that emerges if everybody was to sit tight for the dispatch and the DIP to purchase at adjusted costs, at that point who will purchase amid the ICO?

on some side you are right, but not all projects work on this principle. my advice is to pay attention to all the details of the project, only then everything will be profitable in any scenario

And some of those ICO got a bull when they hit the market or there own internal exchanges if not all....this year 2018, i don't think have seen any good ICO sofar and there are lot's of them flying around

Well...maybe they're just coming by
