I have observed just the same. It could help those who want to participate yet honestly if nobody would want to help during the ICO stages the project may not be able to continue. So if you support the project invest a bit and pour in on investments after the ICO ends when prices will even become smaller. Atleast you could revive it when it's price will get very low.

One of the reason why most of ico's now when they get listed on exchanges the price gets dumping because the market now is downtrend commonly called bear market and the other reason is the ico did not meet their hardcap but other ico does not do burning their token for the price liquidity.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

ICO in 2018 with 2017 is different.
I feel ICO 2018 is a lot but not all ICO in this year is good, many ICO projects that do not reach its soft cap.
This is why investors should be delayed until dip.

ICO's are one of those good way to earned money out from cryptocurrency, there's a lots of people who wanted to take easy money to the point that they won't investigate well before proceeding to this business,  those are the reason why there's a lots of new created tokens each day trying to give

in early 2017, there was limited ICO and participants. SO, we could be easy to join participate in the ICO. The price of the coin in ICO is also cheap and they are growing and rising after the end of the ICO. It is different from the recent condition.
