ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017.

it's just onn some coins, the price flies up several times, then falls to the price of the sale of ICO and in a few months exceeds the surge after the release of coins to the market.

ICO one day will surely back to normal someday.

That is because we are in a correction phase in 2018 as 2017 the charts ran up and the coins could not sustain that trend and had to have a healthy correction.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Here I agree in 2017 a lot of projects collected hardcore, now in 2018 a couple of projects that collect the hardcore because of the correction in the market

I think the market has dropped considerably if you compare it to it's state in 2017, the ICO projects were a big thing at the moment, and it currently is too, but right now there is a lack of innovative projects, most of them don't even reach the goals they propose in the beginning.

Almost all good ICO in 2017 made fantastic profit. Now everything has changed very few projects show positive result after ICO. Therefore now it is necessary to be very attentive at the choice of ICO for investments!

Still did´t invested in any ICO during 2018.. It is much cheaper to buy after listing. Maybe 1/100 coins rocket after listing.

But still.. unfortunately agree. 2017 ICO´s was better.

may be there is too small amount of good projects this year? the developers have no good ideas so they can't offer good products to investors.

Most tokens always stand below the ICO price after the ICO, because the price of tokens is overstated when it's sold, and how much a token can cost if there is no finished product.

Well it's normal to expect the ICO token price become lower below ICO but not all turns out like that some gets more higher price. but your idea is great though

you're right. this year I do not see a successful ICO and it is better to buy tokens in the market when they fall in price.

Some of those big hyped ICO are now run by the same group of people, they claim to have a private sale, and then a pre sale, you are maybe lucky to get into the ICO in the pre sale, or in the early stages of the main sale, where you still can buy the coin with a discount compare to people who buys in the last round of the main sale.
When the coin hits the exchange, the ICO team starts to sell even more coins, but now they are selling coins from the close private sale, coins that were never on the market, and properly were disputed for free between the ICO team members.
Officially the ICO team still holds their tokens, but the ICO tokens from the private sale are free to be sold.

yes in my opinion it is also like that, because from what I have seen ICOs now it is very difficult to achieve softcap, this is because the crypto market which is experiencing a continuous catastrophe and is uncertain when it will recover, naturally if the ico investors also become doubtful

I think you are right..  It's better most times to buy dips than ico..  But most times icos offer discounts and bonuses that covers the dip

ICO in 2017 has a big difference in 2018 because last year my investments in ICO earns big amount but now in 2018 it falls down to 80% of my token price. and that is so disappointing.
