A lot of people wonder what is the criteria of a good gambler, here are some of my thought about good gambler

a good gambler never chase profit
Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus

Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler

Yes, these thoughts are right but even how much we tried to be a good gambler sometimes we really exceed what we do expect or what we set as limits ( Im basing this to reality ) because if that will happen to gamblers then no one will get brooke, no family that be apart or any effect that gambling can give. The fact is because humans are greedy in nature ,we always want more that lead us to bad things.

I think a criteria to be a good gambler is to know how to strictly restrict himself from using the money that are suppose to be used for his family expenses to gamble in order to chase back his heavy losses, that is one of the reason why people who are heavily addicted to gambling could often find themselves getting into a very stressful relationship with their family members.

It is like thinking of a group of murderers and then assessing which one of them is efficient of them and which one has good skills and which one is better among others. Dude, listen, and grow up. You all must know that when the base is made up of evil, how you can expect of building of virtue over that base. When gambling is harmful for everyone then it is all in vain to check for criteria of good gambler.

Yeah limitation for gambling is important to avoid losing extra money, especially that which is for your daily needs. A good ambler fixes limits and time for his gambling on the same day. When he reaches to that limits of time and money he quits because this is the criteria of a good gambler. Never accede your limits and you will never go in debts.

I couldn't agree more. All of the above are valid but like aforementioned just because we are aware of what's best to do doesn't always lead to it being acted on. Because, we are humans and we're overwritten by emotions. For example, an obese person might be aware that they eat too much and yet they don't act upon it because it lacks the fundamental force - will power.

I totally agree with what you said my friend, A gambler should follow these steps to be good gambler, but the problem that there are a lot of gamblers are losing a lot of money because they are too greedy about winning and to get a lot of money, they didn't know when they should stop, I think it's hard for them to realize this thing, Personally, I don't play gambling to make a money or something like that, I just gamble because I want to make fun with my friends and that's all.

Agree, good gamblers are those who are able to keep from falling into things that can interfere with his life. Those who use little of their money to gamble and no intention to use the money that should be used for other purposes, are those that I think a good gambler.

They are just reasonable and realistic. That does not make them good gamblers. By the definition of good, it means you are doing well in such a thing. No one actually gets to win a lot from gambling unless their luck pulls them through, but in any case, there should always be a sense that helps one to knowing when to stop gambling and when to just have fun from it which a lot of people find very hard and makes them an unreasonable gambler.

Being a good gambler will not be having any extra edge in my experience after all. You may get enforced to face sudden losses even you have behaved like a good and legendary gambler because gambling is working in such a way to shock us most of the times. This criterias did you mentioned about a good gambler are really well being suited. That's what we should think first before doing any gambling site,  so that we are aware and avoid being addicted In gambling. We should gamble moderately  to avoid any losses and being frustrated.

I highly believe that people can discipline themselves to achieve those positive criterias but let's be honest that is just for a temporary effect. I feel the problem a lot of gamblers usually have that makes them to fall in the category of being an unreasonable and a very pathetic gambler is the mindset of wanting to win by all means and for any gambler that is able to eliminate this mindset right from the onset, it would make such a person never to fall for being greedy or expecting the impossibility from gambling.

Gambling is part of a lot of country's culture, and most of them Gambling is just a thing to be enjoyed with your friends or your family. Such people are rare but they do exist. I have seen some players who are very patient and can digest few losses repetitively before the final win. It also developed with experience but I feel the nature of the person has to do with more of it. If I tell you my situation, I used to be making decisions based on feelings and never applied in mind in beginning.

I used to leave the site after exhausting all my balance. There was a time when my bank passbook was printed with just deposits made to different gambling sites. I am over all this now.

I agree with these opinions that one of our friend have mentioned in his comment because everyone has got different experience regarding the same thing that’s why everyone have different opinions as well but for me, I think there is no such criterion of a good gambler. A good gambler in my opinion is the one who knows when to leave and stop for good.

Yeah that is absolutely right. These houses are there to make money from you. They don’t care about what you have. They mostly think about themselves and that is why the games are planned just according to their own benefits. You just go in there for the first time and they let you win in a row. Everyone has his own way of living and definitely own point of view about different things so respect his effort that he has made and mentioned all these criterions of a good gambler rather than hearting his feeling by saying this that don’t waste your time in fining qualities of a good gambler.
