The wetsuit account made their last post in 2018 but was last online in October 2023. With all of these issues surrounding the decline in trust and reputation of the freebitcoin website, it would have been somewhat prudent if they had engaged with members. If I recall correctly, they made an announcement stating that TheQuin had been moved to another role within freebitcoin but TheQuin did not post here again (since May 2024). This has been a total public relations disaster for the freebitcoin brand. I think that TheQuin was managing Freebitco.in and everything was going through his hands but now he either has serious health problems or I think that he is dead. wetsuit, the owner of Freebitco hasn't been active on this forum for years and I do not expect his appearance but it's still very strange because he was running a signature campaign here and they were caring about their reputation on this forum. Their domain is about to expire in 4 months, I wonder if they purchase a few more years for the domain or it will go into someone's hand. If they don't renew domain, then I'll be sure that there is something wrong with both of them and most likely both of them either got a serious injury or aren't alive.

Does Freebitcoin support all address types when I want to withdraw or do I have to chose a specific one, e.g., BIP84 (Segwit), BIP86 (Taproot), BIP44 (legacy), BIP49 (leg segwit)?

You can withdraw your fund to any of the standard Bitcoin address types except taproot. Just note that if you want to make auto withdrawals, you can only use legacy addresses. That's because the auto withdrawals are made to your profile address and you can't use non-legacy addresses as your profile address.

In the past year, there have been many issues with freebitco and sometimes withdrawals were delayed. Since I haven't read any reports complaining about dealyed withdrawals in the past days, I don't think there's any issue with withdrawals now. If everything works as expected, an instant withdrawal should take up to 15 minutes and a slow withdrawal should take up to 24 hours. Note that this is also assuming your withdrawal isn't flagged to be reviewed manullay. If your withdrawal is flagged for a manual review, it will probably take longer time to be processed.

Actually, It kind of took me off guard when I started to see people claiming Freebitcoin becoming a shady and non-trustworthy casino, since I had used it before and was one of my first experiences with Bitcoin gambling, so I wonder what happened for them to lose all their reputation. Perhaps there was some change of administration of the casino under the table and the new owners do not have the same standard of quality the previous ones had. Or it could be they started to lack of liquidity and could not longer keep their operations as usual and needed to held withdrawals and the funds of some of their gamblers. I feel I am in lack of context to what happened to this service to lose all the good name it had... Do you have the a summary of what happened to Freebitcoin?

Do you have the a summary of what happened to Freebitcoin?
The issues with freebitco started more than a year ago when TheQuin became inactive. Withdrawals were delayed for a while and some withdrawals even took more than a week to be processed. Of course, as far as I know, all pending bitcoin withdrawals were finally processed and as I said in my previous post, I guess withdrawals are working now. WOF spins were not credited for months and they still owe many of the users a lot of WOF spins. A few weeks ago, there were posts reporting that the issues with WOF spins were solved. Since I no longer hold any FUN token, I can't confirm if the WOF spins are still credited. They have not accounced the winner of the round 11 of lambo lottery yet, while the tickets for that were sold more than 8 months ago.

I think that to all this, we should add one more thing, and that is the almost total lack of communication, i.e., ignoring any questions from users. Yes, there was CSFBC, who very rarely answered anything in this thread. But as far as I'm concerned, he didn't provide any clarity and didn't even explain what happened inside freebitcoin.

If you check freebitco.in PR's profile, you will see that the account was created in 2019 and it was not a new account. freebitco.in PR was active for a very long time (even when TheQuin was active) and it was used by freebitco for posting about their announcements and promotions. freebitco.in PR became inactive after people complaining about their service.

You're right, I didn't notice that account until after TheQuin disappeared. I'd also like to turn attention to this topic. There is a lot of things also explained (they had to pay some fines and they were banned to operate in certain countries).

German user here. A few days ago freebitco.in has been blocked by german government authorities, which means we can only use a foreign VPN to access the site. This got me a little worried that I might get banned, so I decided to withdraw most of my Satoshis, except those locked into FUN Token.
My slow withdrawal was manually reviewed, approved and sent in less than 24 hours. No complications, even though I was using a VPN.

Congratulations on your successful withdrawal, it's been a while someone talked about withdrawing successfully from the casino, and some were beginning to wonder whether the site is still processing withdrawals, and it's actually very impressive to learn that your choice of slow withdrawal still got sent to your provided wallet in less than 24 hours, this is very commendable for the site. And let me say that I've never known freebitco to be against users making use of VPN to access the casino, if your government have banned gambling platforms which freebitco is part of, or they banned freebitco specifically, this does not stop you from accessing the site with a VPN, the only time it becomes a big problem is when it's freebitco management that banned German users access to the casino, if as a German, you are caught using VPN to access the casino, that becomes a big offence which could lead to account suspension and forfeiture of the fund you have on the account.

Thx, I don't know if it is freebitco.in themselves, internet providers or somebody else blocking german users. I've never heard about anyone having troubles when using a VPN on their site, but better safe than sorry. Only downside is that I am now missing out on the daily interest.

Now, calculate that it also gives two satoshis to its users every hour, meaning it gives at least one bitcoin to its users every hour just through the faucet. I estimate that freebitco.in has about one hundred thousand BTC in reserves that it has saved over the years.

Maybe 56 million registrations... I would immediately cut that in half (and maybe we should cut it by 70-80%) to bots and double/triple accounts. In any case, I would cut what's left in half again to inactive accounts. +10 years ago when I joined the rewards were around 1000 sats every hour... I showed it to a few friends and they all gave up after a while. Like now 2 sats then +1000 was also something very small in dollars and no one was interested in it. Apart from various issues that have arisen in the past (some of which are more serious), Freebitcoin is stuck in one place. Where are some improvements, new features, or anything that can attract new players & keep the old ones on the site?

Oh, that's true, I just checked Freebitco.in after your post, it's blocked at request of the German government authorities. So, German government was able to contact Freebitco and request a geolocation block but this makes me ask another question, this proves that Freebitco.in's owners are alive and in charge of things, right? So what's going on with this website? Why don't we see any update from owners? freebitco.in has about 56 million users. Now, calculate that it also gives two satoshis to its users every hour, meaning it gives at least one bitcoin to its users every hour just through the faucet. There is no way it's giving away 1 Bitcoin per hour. I can't imagine someone wasting their time on earning 0.00000038 BTC per hour and I'm sure that Freebitco.in will be good at catching bots. Also, we shouldn't forget that there is a high chance that since the reward is so low, lots of people will try their luck with BTC Multiplier dice game and since their house edge is very high, lots of customers will lose their free earned satoshis in this multiplier.

Europe is the world capital of red tape nonsense they might even rival communist mind control so it cant be too much of a surprise they will ban in general. In many countries gambling is seen as a part of government revenues because its so reliable even in recession; government absolutely hates the concept of competition to their flawed operations so unless they get some kickback they will eliminate competition by any means necessary. 1000 sats on the free faucet is roughly what I remember and Im equally guilty of not especially trying to collect that amount, I might have even lost the cookie for an ancient account I will go look properly when BTC is 1 mil . BTC itself was under 100 dollars at the time, anyone from back then could have just loaded up if we had all known the future. Its part of why older BTC holders are weather worn from all this drama and sell offs that occur, I said during covid to someone posting worried here go check in on the giant million views thread in speculation. Older holders dont care if it spikes down too much its a buy price and sell is not an option; its hard to convince people as well as experience has taught hard lessons. Dollar has a horrible decline done deliberately and its part of why Satoshi with foresight even bothered to apply that genius, if Volcker was still around I'd warn otherwise but its hard to argue against just keep stacking BTC as you can. Off macro scale, BTC forming lower high now gives precedent to a pullback medium term possibly so maybe I bet lower just to see.

Congratulations on your successful withdrawal, it's been a while someone talked about withdrawing successfully from the casino, and some were beginning to wonder whether the site is still processing withdrawals, and it's actually very impressive to learn that your choice of slow withdrawal still got sent to your provided wallet in less than 24 hours, this is very commendable for the site. snip As far as I know, slow withdrawals doesn't require manual review, correct me if I am wrong. So if @bl86fl as opted for a slow withdrawal, chances are that it got auto-approved and may be that's how he got the funds to his wallet. It's good to know that slow withdrawal are still being processed which shows that site is not dead at least yet.

Your withdrawal being flagged for manual review has nothing to do with whether you have requested a slow withdrawal or an instant withdrawal. Withdrawals are flagged to be reviewed manually, if the account activity is considered suspicious by their system and if that happens, your withdrawal will not be processed until it's reviewed manually.
