Not at the moment. Improved stats is definitely one the things I'm hoping to see on the new site. wetsuit is very receptive to any suggestions, most of what I've suggested to him so far he's either already done or put on the list for when he starts the rebranding.

Adding more games is definitely on the list. RP for deposits isn't a bad idea, I'll mention it.

I said this a short while back when someone suggested lower house edge as a promotion:

I think that the influence of house edge is given great importance on the gambling board of Bitcointalk.org but doesn't extend much further. In the fiat gambling industry the sites and physical casinos don't compete on house edge, they compete to have the best promotions and comps.

This is just a personal view of the freebitco.in business model that I've always thought is why he does it the way he does. The higher house edge allows all the giveaways. The faucet, free lottery tickets, RP etc. is what is used to promote the site and bring customers in. That's the way it works on the Vegas strip, free drinks, free dinner and if you play enough a suite for the night. That's how the casinos try to outdo each other, you won't see them advertising lower house edge because that doesn't mean anything to 99% of potential customers.

Hello, there! Didn't realise TheQuin had become the voice of Freebitco, don't think there're many more capable. I don't roll here anymore but believe me, I was spending a lot of time on this site when I first became familiar with Bitcoin. Don't even remember my original account, I think I made another in 2016 and have no idea what's happened with that

Just thought I'd stop by to say that I have a lot more respect for faucets than most. It is still the gateway to crypto for a lot of people, it was one of the many gateways for me, anyway, and I think it's good to see some good, solid, old brands associated with Bitcoin still doing very well. I see new changes and all, good for the site. And you're all right. Maybe now the handful of satoshi you earn will be worth a dollar each years from now. I always see it that way and agree that we are, after all, still early adopters.

Posts on the past couple of pages do tell me that the mystery of why people complain the most for something that's free hasn't been solved. Go figure.

I asked wetsuit, can I make another account. He answered that I can make second account, but it's only allowed to use one account to claim from faucet.

There is no way they will reduce the house edge, first because they give such a big lottery prize on every week which is 5% house edge is pretty good amount to keep the lottery be there. Second thing, people like their lottery system so if they reduce the house edge, of course their hi-lo games will be good to play but their lottery will be on very low prize and it will not attract any players to play

You have to wait for the block to be mined before you view it. Telling you in advance which block we will use along with the ticket list is what makes it provably fair.

This means that we have created the raw Tx but not yet broadcast it to the network. That usually happens when there is a long gap between blocks and we need other Txs to confirm to return the change used in later Txs.

That is actually mind boggling if you consider the odds of winning with 2 tickets, in a Lottery where 494 511 164 tickets were bought.  This person just won about $1000 US and he did not even buy a single lottery ticket.   Those tickets was possibly just a test roll on the FREE roll to see how this works. Amazing luck!

I can imagine that they are thousands of accounts which have some BTC on the site, but who haven't been active for more than 1-2 year.

I didn't login to my account for most of 2015 and 2016 and was still there when I came back. I've got a few referrals that I have been earning 1 sat a day from since interest was introduced so their accounts must be growing at 4 sats a day. We never know if or when they might come back.

Yeah, that's always been an unfair rule - retrospective or not. We all have been there, leaving accounts inactive inadvertently, I know it's happened to me more than I care to remember. Could always make them tagged as dormant, requiring reactivation, but never to confiscate monies that are simply left on accounts. It's not really like they're taking up so much resources, are they?

@kakmakr, I use plenty of throwaway emails too, but if I even had a small chance of winning a lottery, I'd use an email I could at least check back. Freebitco.in is whitelisted from my email haha.

I was thinking more along the lines of RP to go with the interest on your balance. wetsuit would need to work out all the costs etc. but for example, we pay 4.08% on balances above 30k sats we could do xx RP a day for balances above 100k. Something like that anyway.
