Sorry about the delay in payments the last few days, we had a few users making large withdrawals which drained our hot wallets and created a backlog in sending payments out. We have a better hot-wallet refill policy in place now which should hopefully minimize such issues in the future.

A few points to clarify the re-branding:

• The re-branding and addition of new coins will not happen suddenly, it will be done over a period of a few months and we shall send 3 emails over this time so that pretty much all of our users are aware before the name change.
• We have the freebitco.in name registered until 2025 so even after the name change, all freebitco.in links will work as usual (no need to change banner or referral links etc.) and everyone visiting freebitco.in will be seamlessly directed to the new website with a message informing them of the re-brand.
• All coins will have all of the features that bitcoin has but I am yet undecided about the lottery (maybe it will be a combined one with the prize paid out in the currency of the users choice)
• Users will be able to claim only 1 coin every hour to begin with but hopefully I can increase the limits eventually.

The re-brand is part of a process to make freebitco.in more than just a faucet. My plan is to implement a no-KYC shapeshift.io style exchange after the rebrand to enable users to exchange between coins instantly. I feel like we have outgrown the freebitco.in name and the rebrand will allow us to do a lot more stuff without people associating the website with being just a faucet which somewhat restricts our growth now.

I agree with veleten. The vast majority of people who google "free bitcoin" and get your site, freebitco.in, as one of the top results (in fact for me it is the top result after ADs which I normally ignore) will not like the redirecting because it always feels suspicious when you are redirected to somewhere. Taking into account that 99.9% of them never read this forum they have from little to no chance to know that there's nothing wrong with the redirecting and that it isn't in fact some kind of a malicious redirection.

If you feel like you have outgrown the freebitco.in as we know it and that you have the ability to create a no-KYC exchange that's great and I sincerely wish you good luck in getting that paid off, but I think it's better to reconsider the idea of redirecting. IMO you can keep freebitco.in the way it is while placing banners and information about your new business on the frontpage of this popular site.

@wetsuit, I appreciate your answer, but still, I don't think that re-branding are really necessary.Users veleten and Betwrong above said main reasons why you should keep same name, I can't say better.
Idea of no-KYC exchange sounds interesting. Microwallet services like Faucethub and Coinpot already have their own exchanges and I like them. When your website will become multi-currency, exchange will be also needed.
And also, one question to my mind came recently. I have an account on freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in. on both accounts I have lot of referrals. After freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in will be combined with Crypteer.com, does it means that I will have 2 different Crypteer accounts? Will it be possible to merge these accounts?

They already advertising their site in google as well and their current domain will be still available for new few years which is good enough for them to build a new site SEO.

weekly payments are basically a bigger batch of transactions paying a lot more users than the other withdrawal options. and it does it on the weekends which used to be less traffic on bitcoin network. in fact many services used weekends to batch transactions and get rid of a lot of dust with low fees.

I used to disable weekly withdrawal and only enable it when I plan to take advantage (when it was free) automatic withdraw

I do not why you suggest him to deposit and put the money on the lottery. For me, as per my understanding on the post quoted above is that he is only chasing for the biggest prize on the freeroll because he mentioning about $200. As I remember, there were some people confirmed that they won the biggest prize on the faucet and there are also some lucky winners on lottery with few tickets only. I believe those lucky winners with few tickets were claiming faucet only.

Fees are so cheap because the used Segwit. 803 satoshis and confirmed in 3 minutes, that's faster and cheaper than some of my Bcash transactions.

I think fees are only cheaper when you do a SegWit to SegWit transaction. Most of the people using this site has most

probably not changed to SegWit addresses. A lot of the Signature campaign managers have been asking people to change

to SegWit addresses and I think it might be time for big sites like this to do the same. {give a incentive bonus for the people

That's incorrect. Using Segwit to send gives a discount on the weight (virtual size) of the input scripts of the transaction so it will be smaller regardless of whether the output addresses are legacy or Segwit. There is also a very small additional saving if using a bech32 address as it takes a few bites less but that is a minor saving.
