is there any official announcement for these recent bitcoin forks? I checked the previous 2 pages and I didn't see anyone talking about them.

No there's no announcement about claiming forks, you can always check latest post(s) of wetsuit [1] and or myfe[2] for any announcement that you've/could've missed. btw how many forks have happened recently? there are so many that i've lost the count lol.

so far freebitco.in only support claiming 2 bitcoin forks that I know and both have some value
I doubt they will keep supporting all bitcoin forks, there are too many and much less value
there is no point wasting time and resources just to get a few dollars,
you should've withdrew and hold in your own wallet if you're aiming to claim all recent and future forks

There has been a slight improvement on my end, I'm now up to a 13 sat payout, but not the 25 it is currently paying out for those not being hit with this issue.

Seems very likely that it's the IP flagging issue as mentioned previously in the thread as to why roll rewards have been cut in half. I contacted wetsuit + Myfe and actually like within one hour I received an email saying my account at Freebitco.in is now whitelisted and apologies for any inconvenience. And my roll bonus resumed to normal amounts.

The email:
"Your account at FreeBitco.in has been whitelisted and you should not get any further 'blocked IP' messages. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope you continue to roll and win with us!

I thought he got a very good system to give one claim per one PC for one hour. Even people change IP address they can't claim multiple times from the same PC.

If he allows multiple claiming from different IP address from the same PC then obviously people will abuse it. Then he needs a better system to avoid this abuse.

It's the same as a DDoS attack. It's a piece of malware that allows him to control thousands of computers. Rather than just attack sites and make them run slow he runs a script to claim from faucets.

Isn't why there's captcha implementation to block automatic claiming/scripts? afaik google's recaptcha can't be bypassed or solved automatically, so, how would these scripts work?

No m8, google recaptcha can be bypassed, that's why google is trying to improve it every day.
If my memory serves me well, in the beginning you could have ticked only one(or two) fields to prove that you are not bot and 5 times per day ticking wasn't required.
Now it is pain to solve it with all these next buttons, but still, it can be bypassed.
When captcha is bypassed, it is not hard to run script to claim faucet from thousands accounts.

How did you contact them?

I have some referrals with the same problem and until now I am telling them to be patient, but if it is necessary to contact support I will tel them.

My intention was to avoid the increase of support tickets but since Mefe and Wetsuit are offline from this topic... :\

I still can't understand one can put so much effort to earn just 20 to 30 santoshi per hour? Yes, even though they got many accounts but they still need to spend money on captcha solving software as well but at the end, these guys can make money very little from these faucet sites with so much effort.

That's probably why the ones with large botnets are the biggest problem. Try working out how much that guy with 50,000 accounts was making an hour. Not just the base reward but all the other prizes. That's a statistical chance of winning the $200 top prize 2.5 times per hour.

The site is mostly used by crypto newbies, you can't get bigger rewards because the chance is very slim to win them.You can earn here a nice income if you got a bunch of refferals.

I'm earning with 1k refferals about 40k satoshis weekly, but I doubt you can get more refferals as almost everyone knows or already is registered on the site.

There is an advanced settings pane for recaptcha administrators that lets the administrator tune the hardness of the checks. Maybe most administrators doesn't even know it exists and it defaults to medium if I remember correctly and on that setting it goes nuts most of the times with the infinite next next next loop. By setting it on easy it's more normal and it can be solved in a human manner without being driven crazy all the times.

it's a faucet and this is how faucet works , you can't find a higher paying faucet that manages to stay alive like freebitcoin did
if you want to earn more then you have to refer people to be under , or you can store some btc with them and they will pay you interest
it's not that big interest but it's better than freezing your btc , so far for me I made 0.0006 BTC from interest and it's covering my transactions fees

Well, there is the answer to your problem. They only want to know that there are a actual "human" behind that IP and not

some bot. You should just click on FAQ link at the top and scroll down to the "Contact" form and fill in your details. They

seem to be responding quicker there.  ..... Bots are a pain in the ass, and I have first hand experience of that, so any

help from the users will make things better for them.

Yes, I would. They might need to know their user id so they can whitelist them. Also sending a message shows it's not likely to be a bot.

I think Google may be behind that misconception. Captcha solvers are freely available on the internet for a small fee and I guess the people that create them may well use them themselves.

This is what Wesuit posted when he switched from reCaptcha a while ago.

I'll probably add an option to switch captchas soon but not for the next few days at least because this new captcha is helping me catch a lot of bots who are not aware of the change and are still submitting old captcha responses.

If the old captcha helped wetsuit catch bots, maybe he should enable it again! he could ban hell a lot of accounts again. he probably can't get rid of bots completely, but he could catch them and ban from time to time.

Yep, it indeed can be profitable if one can break/bypass captcha. apparently some people do have such tool/script/bot. i read in pages back, someone was running 50k bots, wetsuit caught the bots and banned them all.

I just simply sent them a PM here in bitcointalk - one each to Myfe and wetsuit. Not sure which of them ultimately addressed my issue, but it was taken care of SUPER quickly. Much appreciated.

Yeah, I've sent them emails to their support in the past, they almost never get responded to. To be fair, they do say they don't respond to most of them unless it's a unique issue that's not addressed on their FAQ (though even if they are unique, I feel I never get a response anyways).
