I don't see such resource draining in my pc with the site open, peaks in my cpu usage are around 30% and an average 10% during no activity, so from what i can see, it's not true.

When I open FBC, the load suddenly spikes by over 30%, but when I close it, the load drops sharply. My PC isn't very powerful, so these spikes are noticeable. I have a low rating, so I can't post a screenshot. I'll see what happens in three days.

Yes, this happens when launching or refreshing the page. This is normal. There are no problems with Chrome.
However, with Mozilla Firefox, it does, and it seems the browser itself mines cryptocurrency when opening any website.

I have a new theory for what freebitcoin is doing now ON OUR MACHINES.

I work with visual studio, 3D apps.

Now, when google chrome is open, freebitcoin is using my windows processes more than usual.

I think freebitco is MINING BITCOIN without our consent — to generate revenue — when the freebitcoin's tab is open.

My softwares are freezing, and it's a high end PC.

When I shut down the internet and close google chrome, the problem disappears.

It seems it is mining bitcoin using our computers, to genrerate revenue again.
I think they're doing that for months, since 2024, when that problem happened.

I don't see any of the things you claim. I've scanned every running script, I've looked at the functions, I've evaluated every file related to it, I've monitored both RAM usage and Internet usage and not seeing anything going in or out when it's idle. I think you have something else going on with some extension.

Well, according to the post the made they are basically stating they are still the same owners and that the company did not change hands. Looking through the thread, this scenario seems to have been rejected by many members and it you can understand why.

'CSFBC' had stated that there is no change of ownership and management when everyone was showing concerns about it. He had stated it 6 months ago.

What in your opinion is the status? If I make an assumption based on many of the posts here, I am leaning towards a sale of some sort taking place at the point of the date where the decline began.

That is ok to use English as a primary language of the site even if they want to ban the UK and the US gamblers from accessing the site. English is pretty much a global language and if any site is operating online just like freebitco then of course they will present their main interface in the same English language.

However this is the first time I am heard that the US and UK citizens aren't allowed to play at freebitco , this is something new newly changed or was it like this from the start

The current TOS look the same to me as when I first became aware of them when they were discussed at length here back in July 2023 when it was stated by thequin

You’re right, it’s not that hard to login their Bitcointalk account and confirm that they are still operating the casino in time that everyone is already doubting the casino credibility due to lot of problem.

The decline of the casino reputation is highly noticeable which doesn’t happened in the time when thequinn and wetsuit operates it. They are very prompt on answering questions in case there’s issue while it’s resolved timely.

Its not actually hard to do that especially if they are serious dealing with this issues and will give assurance that everything is fine then also they are working for solutions of those issues facing by lots of people in their casino.

Maybe they're just tired of it. They've made millions, especially since they've scammed many people over the past two months, who haven't been able to withdraw their savings.
The site has over 50 million users, and just imagine if even 1% of all users deposit $100, and that's not a small number. Some deposit $1,000 or more.
But even at $100, that's $50,000,000 per day. I don't know what it would take for the site to be unprofitable.

I'm not sure what has happened exactly, but I doubt that they have sold the website. I believe all these things are happening as they were unable to make any revenue. Most probably the premium membership system had a negative impact on their revenue part. We only know some usernames of Bitcointalk accounts who own Freebitco.in. The real identity of the owner is still unknown as it was from the beginning.

They were still processing withdrawals through the old wallet addresses. We wouldn’t see that if ownership had changed.

I did used to engage the mining on this sites webpage and sadly I think it was cpu only so really in any later year that didnt mean much not on my cpu anyway.  Early BTC that was ok and shows to the age of the site but that was ages ago that cpu was ok like 2011 I did some cpu mining.

  FBC never used gpu via the website and it would be noticeable if it did as I had a 100db horribly loud gpu for many years, you know when its active

Anyhow the maths above indicates either way gpu nor cpu is nowhere even remotely close to feasible.   So not that you have to presume trust, its just not a viable means to mine with permission or not.  The site has no facility or reference to mining in its pages that I've noticed recently and I did leave it running years ago, wasnt really worth the bother back then.

To make a profit, you need large investments, primarily in alternative energy.
However, the cost of solar panels and other related equipment means you won't recoup your investment for at least 20 years, even if you buy the latest ASIC miner.

It's gone, there's no tech support, nothing. Only its shell remains online.
