Well, I would not say that the mosheniki, but there is where really inflate prices,so to speak Pampyat coins, and of course time to merge, it is a whole science and art,to track the growth and the entry of volumes, so that time to merge and sell at the peak, while others on the Hai will buy,so you need to carefully monitor all this market

I agree with you that there are ICOs that are scams. but not all of them. i do suggest researching first before investing. right now i got my eyes on DCC. https://medium.com/@dcc.finance2018/dcc-presale-completed-bc4713fa2bd7 if you're interested try checking them out, visit their website at http://dcc.finance/ or follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/DccOfficial2018

I probably would have given more percent. Because in the end, many more ico will be scam. And only the projects that are necessary to society remain.

I think 80% is too little. ICO is too risky. I do not want to participate. I think the investment currency is more ideal.

It is only our responsibility to find out whether some ICO project is worth participating because there are so many fake ones in the market that you do need to spend time and research before joining them.

No, this is not true that 80% of the ICOs are a scam. But I say only 5% ICOs are the flop because of their soft cap is not reaching. And, after this, they are returned back the investors money back to their wallet.

Thats the sad truth. Out of 80%, some items are hold for few days. Some ones got scam before ICO

But why i almost participate for too many ICO's then all of that was 100% legit and i never experienced a scam ICO.

I believe on that but just choose a good ICO to prevent from scam.

I think there are some reason why some ICO do scam participants because it is not yet successful and they don't want to continue it and it cause some issue into scam.

But this does not stop people from further testing themselves in this direction. This is a revolution in the crypt and brings both profit and new players who are able to influence and create competition to certain tops.

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...
total agreeth with this. many scammers see the chance for fast money in crypto industry and very fast build a nice whitepaper, hire some well-known faces, pr infamous press to attract more participants after that they do nothing and leave project got to die and continues to create a new one.

I think the odds of 80% are still low. I think at least 90% of ICO projects are fraud, and only the remaining 10% can be successful! I think investing in ICO is like buying lottery tickets!

I think not all ico is a scam, maybe even the number is less than 45%, I do not know where you get that data, if we see now, many ico are very successful and phenomenal

These are not true figures, people say so because they have not yet paid the tokens, but with a great delay, it all costs this, I think this figure is close to 60%!

Well to be frankly i agree with this but in order to bet that 20% you need to do some research so you can hit that percentage and also it is very hard to find a good ICO now a days so proceed with caution

People should understand that free cheese is only in a mousetrap. We are guilty of so many frauds. In pursuit of easy money, we do not notice the scam. I am sure that with the introduction of laws the situation will change for the better. Better to be cautious on investing your money. Know the project very well and the people behind it. And learn everything about it before jumping in to it. Icos is being used to lure money by some people, so let's not fall victims to that

Everyone is subject to his/her opinion, before I buy into your ideology, I will first examine the circumstances that surrounds your ideology. What I understand here is that most project did not plan to fail, but because of the competitions in the cryptowolrd has made them seems to scam people. Every people have different views and opinions, therfor we cant really say that most ico's are scams because not all people do experience on what op have experience
