There is an example.conf file in the cgminer folder.  Replace the text in the config with the text above, and then rename the file to cgminer.conf.  All you need to do at that point is set the thread concurrency and intensity.  I run my 7950s at 17-18 intensity to keep the heat down.  The thread concurrency is different for each card, and there are some generic values listed in the LTC mining post here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0.  Once you do that, all you need to do is start cgminer.

And yet it has found 7 blocks in the last 24 hours.  Not a bad strike rate for a pool only averaging 10MH/s and you get mine here for free till the end of the month.  Found a better deal anywhere else? Add some hashes and you might get lucky and we may get even luckier!

The pool is only 9 days old.  It is slowly gaining traction, and in turn users.  The first few days were mostly Johndec and I mining.  Our 24 hour block stat is now around 4-5 blocks, and that's with only ~10-12MH.  The pool efficiency has held solid at 99.5%+.  It's currently running at 0% fees, which I believe is one of the only TAG pools doing so.  I'm open to all community suggestions, which I'm sure Johndec can attest to.  I want it to be a place where miners will be happy to mine at.  Later today, I will be paying out the first 10 block finder's rewards, and will probably set up a permanent block reward or jackpot system by the end of the month(I'm leaning toward the jackpot system).  These rewards have been, and always will be paid at my expense.  At the end of the day, I try to make sure the miners mining here will take home more than they would elsewhere.

Additionally, I run only this pool.  Some of the larger pools that are part of a pool network, comprised of many altcoin pools.  That's a lot for someone to manage and dedicate their time to.  I am 100% dedicated to this pool, and this pool only.  And not to knock the other pools... I just want to let you know that 100% of my attention goes to this pool alone.

I'm proud of what the pool has done so far, and where it's going.  I'd be more than thankful if you decided to come and mine with us, but I can understand if you decide otherwise.  After all, you need to do what works for you.  However, our doors are always open, mate!

I would just like to thank those of you who are donating a percentage of your earnings to the pool.

I would like to let you know my intentions for these donated funds.  I am thinking that these funds will be used in the near future to start a weekly or bi-weekly pool jackpot.  I haven't figured out the entry rules or anything yet, but I figured this would be a nice bonus to those that mine there.  This would also give the smaller miners the chance for a decent payout every now and then.

I am open to any feedback you guys have with this idea.  Like I said in the OP, I'm open to all community suggestions.  I would like this pool to be a product of the people who mine there.
