Pay attention to recent statistics. Pay attention to your own research. Only a precious handful of altcoins performed better than Bitcoin over the past three months. So anyone who though altcoins were the way to go during the peak will have realized that they would have fared much better if they just held Bitcoin. Even the so-called established ones like ETH have plummeted worse than BTC. My favorite, LTC, which performed better than BTC in 2017, has also suffered a lot especially after the recent news on Litepay.

Alts are good diversification. Not the best.

If you want an investment that is less risky than cryptocurrencies, then I can't recommend this to you for this won't be the BEST investment. The market is miserably unstable as of now and is suffering from a bad bear market. I don't know when it will recover but you could atleast try, a few hundred bucks that you can afford to lose.

You can divert and look for other investments if you want to. Expand your investments. That will increase your chance of profiting.

In my own opinion, altcoins isn't the best way to invest. Their are fewer altcoins that are worth investing like the likes of WANCHAIN and the likes but for this bear market, the best coins to invest into is bitcoin, etherum and Neo. That's my own recommendation

Investing Crypto is more better than investing on stocks in the local market today because although crypto is volatile but it will offer us higher earnings and return of investments especially when we invest while the altcoins are very cheap today and in the next few weeks or months when the Crypto Market will surge to the moon then we will get higher earnings.
I invested crypto since last year, I bought some Ripple, NEO, Bitcoin Cash and Oyster Pearl PRL.
they are for me a good investments.
