I do not sell my almotroins and they lie on my wallet. I think this is a good defense for them. If I trade them on the exchange, I can make unsuccessful deals and get a loss and reduce my number of tokens.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?
Best option to protect your wallet is to use official wallets , surely if you have your altcoins at the third party wallet or at exchange than there will remain chances of the scam , full at the third party wallet you will use emails to rest password and in that case your security become downs and in case of the exchange there are chances that hackers hack the exchange ( as already happened in past at bug big secure exchange ).
So if you want 100% full security than get a hardware wallet , there you will be able to make better storage of your assets .
Second thing that I know is perfect is to use official wallets that are made by the coin's team , but it will be tough to manage to have small amounts of the coins in  different different wallets , if you have bulk amount of altcoins then use wallets for every coin and make sure that your window is fully updated and fully secured with antivirus and time to time your wallets should be updated officially.
In this way you will be able to protect your assets , otherwise it will also be better for you to use multiple exchange instead of one , in this way if one exchange will face any problem then not another will get affect .

The hacker cannot be avoided because hackers are people who are free from all penalties when they have not been caught by the Police.

They can hack Bitcoin at any time on the Exchange when the Exchange has a gap to crack. So be careful choosing the Exchange.

There is no universal protection against all hackers. Believe me, if they want to hack you, they will do it without problems. First of all you have to make sure of your own accuracy and not make silly mistakes! Do not store money on the exchange, do not save passwords on the Internet, try to change your passwords often.

Anything on the web are defenseless on programmers assault. This incorporates tokens and coins in our online wallets. In any case, to dispose of it take some security measures for yourself, first, absolutely never engage any email that contains joins that possibly a phising site and furthermore never at any point let your private key known by different clients or abandon it unattended

The best way to protect your altcoins in my own opinion is to keep them in a good storage. Be it the exchanges or your wallets. Whatever you choose, they both make great options. It is best that you go on to activate the 2factor authentication for your accounts, and you always keep  your login info safe. Never share passwords or other important information.

Use the metamask extension along with your hardwallet and make sure phishing sites, viruses and malware do not have any chance of getting your private key, but it is important that you do not take out key to anyone, because if you do so there will be no way of getting back will be lost, no return to always protect your keys as your loved ones.

Use myetherwallets for any altcoin capable of ERC20. but never share private key and do not save online media. Also, don't use MWE to view balances. User Etherscan or etherexplorer to view balance. Further note, Hardware wallets is the best method among all here

Limit your private key as much as possible. Please replace it = metamask. Secure setting of 2 layers, even 3 layers. If the whole exchange is hacked, then you are unlucky.

Don't post your address on any website and social media to prevent the hacker from targeting your wallet, prevent opening and clicking suspicious emails, always check website certificate especially when is has to do with your wallet. Most important is to secure your private key, write it down on a paper and avoid saving it on your computer, tablet etc.

First, the wallet chooses a cold wallet, saves its own private key, and the private key is stored on paper. It is very unsafe to have an exchange. I know that many exchanges have been hacked, causing people's property to be lost.

When it has a lot of altcoin, then I should not make one in one wallet. because this will be very dangerous. And I will also keep the wallet in the documentary. In addition, I will not arbitrarily give private key that I have.

I will share my experience in securing my altcoin. I secure my altcoin by storing it in a crypto currency wallet and not storing it on the exchanger. In my opinion, crypto currency wallets are safer to use to store coins than exchangers. Then I activated all the security features on the wallet like the 2FA feature. I didn't forget that I made sure that the email connected to my wallet was not automatically connected with someone else's email that I didn't know. Lastly, I always update my security periodically so that other people cannot guess the password that I use.

The biggest criticism is not hacker, but in your forgetfulness to keep all the data.
Carelessness will also impact failure,
if you are nervous and hunt for the latest information.
You may store data in a safe place, fill all the security until layered.
Yes you are right because as long as I know, crypto wallets like MEW, XLM,ACT, etc they can't be hacked except the hacker knowing your private key. So.. You must have a big awarness to.phising website, I think

Spare your wallet and private key well and don't educate anybody concerning the capacity area and a wide range of different things. be cautious additionally about a site that is suspicious and now and then ridiculous. It may be the case that it's a phishing site that intends to take what goes in it including the crypto put wallet is put away.
