What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

There are 2 real good security activities.
At first please buy a NEW hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S.
At second don't save any keys on your smartphone or Computer. Use a paperwallet, it would be better.

A flash drive is a good option, but now there are much safer options for storing crypto conversions, such as hardware wallet, I really like, and I want to buy myself such a purse.

It's the right thing to do. To be safe, it is enough to learn the basic rules of hygiene behavior on the Internet. It's not hard if you don't think of it as supernatural.

The only safe way to store you alts is to store them in a hardware wallet such as Ledger or Trezor. When you generate a seed using a hardware wallet it is not shared with the computer system and hence even if your computer is having any kind of malware or virus, the seed can never be compromised

It would be too hassle though when you are an active trading or just holding it for few weeks or days. And some of these coins have either very expensive transaction fees or very very slow in sending and receiving. An updated anti virus and extra careful on our pc/laptops/cellphones can help.
But if you are a day trader then you do not need to describe a single altcoin because you keep changing between altcoins every day but if you investors keep it on some hard drives it is the safest size but busy you can take.

Make sure that you always keep your private key's safe, for me using Ledger or trezor is really safe, well what ever Waller you are using make sure that you are always keep your private key safe.
in my opinion all the wallet is safe because most cases that occur on the hacking of a wallet is due to user negligence, so we must always be careful and always wary not to give our private key.

it's a very important thing to risk our account in hackers by maintaining wallet and additional account security because the more cangkin technology to hack an account easily to secure your account follow the safe project and by storing wallet in wallet well.

The best thing you can think of is to use a separate computer to work with your finances, other interesting ideas on how to save your money, I can not say, antiviruses and many complex passwords will not save you if you do not have the authorization of a dual and a second computer.

If altcoin is compatible with erc20, then the best storage option is a hardware purse like a ledger nano. In addition, you should always think about the security of your computer, be sure to update the anti-virus database of your anti-virus software, and you must follow the basic precautions when working on the Internet.

In my opinion the best way to protect yourself from hackers is to use a hardware wallet. It also works well as long as you also take good and right actions. But we must always have to be careful.

As a matter of first importance, I believe that programmers won't attack our little records, however keeping in mind the end goal to guarantee sufficient security, we can store our coins in the wallet and refrigerate the private keys. I think this is the most ideal approach to ensure our coins.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

There are lots of scammers today which will take advantage of other people wherein they will steal your credential and hack your account in order to get your hard-earned coin/money. These are the tips that I can share to you in order to prevent your account from hackers.
1. DO NOT share your password/usernames/privatekeys to other people even to your relatives just keep it to yourself.
2. DO NOT save your credentials in a storage cloud because chances are high that can penetrated by a massive breach, just wrote it down in a piece of paper rather than saving it to your computer.
3. DO NOT visit any malicious website that may contain a malware/virus that can steal your credentials from your PC

We can store altcoins using a hardware wallet. Be careful of password and key security. I also suggest you use Myetherwallet. Myetherwallet is easy to use and superior in safety. There are many ways to hide Altcoins.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

The best way to protect your altcoins is to safeguard your private key and let no one has access to it. Also be careful how you fill your details, don't put down your private key instead of your wallet address.

Protecting your altcoin is same like protecting your Bitcoin I think. You need to keep your wallet safely with a 2FA authentication is fair enough I think, apart from that you need to have your private keys safe and written in a paper or can keep in a hardware wallet if you have MEW like wallets. The safety is belongs to us and we need to keep the private keys secured.
