First of all, I think that hackers will not invade our small accounts, but in order to ensure adequate security, we can store our coins in the wallet and refrigerate the private keys. I think this is the best way to protect our coins.

If I tend to make a double security to secure altcoin in the long run although threats from hackers still exist I try to keep being careful when doing various transaction activities every time.

I protect my altcoin by securing my account on trading floors by 2 layers of security: mail authentication, 2FA authentication. Besides, I also protected my altcoin by buying a Ledger purse to store them safely and away from the bad hackers.

Buy a new computer and download only a wallet program, store your coins in your wallet, and store your private keys in several places, such as your hard drive, usb drive, or notebook.

You can protect your altcoin by storing on Wallet, and do well to keep your private key and password safely and must not be exposed. Hackers are so desperate that they could access one's wallet anyhow, I think you could get hardware wallet for top security.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

The protection is directed to your wallet and not actually to a particular altcoin. Your wallet is where all your coins are kept safe. If you want to keep it the safest way, please choose a hard wallet. Soft wallets may be safe but the hard ones are much safer. And then install authenticators to make sure it is very hard to hack in case somebody will try. And of course, do not share your personal information about your wallet. If possible, hide them in a place you alone can access.

The only safe way to store you alts is to store them in a hardware wallet such as Ledger or Trezor. When you generate a seed using a hardware wallet it is not shared with the computer system.

First of all, I advise you to take the following steps:
1. Install the operating system Linux
2. Add all the necessary links in the browser bookmarks
3. Save private keys and passwords offline
4. If you allow money to buy a cold Treяor or Ledger

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

To implement two factor authentication? if you have not activated start from now to make sure you apply a reliable security pattern.
Two factor authentication will also help you if someone goes into your account, the system will tell you the next code.

Record your account ID, if any, you choose a smart move. Why logging in to a Bitcoin account is important if you forget to save it. Remember your login ID. You may not share it with anyone you've just met.

Backup Recovery Phrase can increase the security of your altcoins account.
It is proven that you will be able to recover the password if you forget the password or the hacker scrambles your account, so your account is disabled.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?
take care of your private key, passwords and dont click any suspicious link that has been sent to you through pm, shared on any social media sites, etc. the only reason why hackers have the access on your account is because they successfully get your key.
I keep my coins by holding them and securing them for long periods. it is very capable to make the coins safer and awake for long periods. so the coins I have do not have to worry about security in the future.

If you are using desktop wallet for your altcoins make sure your the only one can access your computer. Also do not use public wifi. Make a back up of your wallet and store it on a safe storage.

In my opinion, holding is the best way to protect your altcoin to over taking the FUDs stage and maintaining overall stability with the crypto market. In addition, you can host a community of investors to exchange, learn and share experiences to develop a community of users.

To make your altcoin safe, I think you should store it in "Myetherwallet". More, you should not click on suspicious links and give your wallet password to anyone.

There are some general things you have to be aware of in order to protect your savings from hackers, but they are obvious. Do not trust strange sites and always double-check the link. Use the wallets from trusted and well-known companies. Basic stuff.
