Yes dont worry about it but instead of turning you antivirus off, put an exception on the folder (except when you extract it of course as it uses temp folder so you have to disable the antivirus temporarily at that time)

Is there a chance that you can include phi2 in the list of supported algorithms for the next release?

Thanks.

It does not recognize timetravel10 like ccminer in the -a
and pool reject all with timetravail as -a (like ccminer)

Make sure that you have installed the right version of the CUDA libraries on your machine. z-enemy is built with one of several different versions of the CUDA libraries, so depending on which z-enemy you installed, you will need to download and install that version of the CUDA library.

Latest version for Ubuntu 16: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads?target_os=Linux&target_arch=x86_64&target_distro=Ubuntu&target_version=1604&target_type=debnetwork

Older versions: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit-archive

No mining at the moment.

Thanks @zedzednova will give it a go. Could you please provide some guidance on getting the miner to execute as .sh?

I have done the following but it wont execute (might be because of cuda, will recheck but just want to make sure Im not missing anything)

In z enemy folder open terminal
Sudo nano start.sh
z enemy -a c11 -o stratum+tcp:// etc as on main page
Ctrl o enter
Ctrl x enter
Then re-enter terminal
Sudo chmod +x z enemy && sudo chmod +x start.sh
Sudo ./start.sh

Then it says z enemy directory ‘no such file’ directory missing, am I missing something?

Could you please provide some guidance.

Did you download and install the 9.1 drivers? Where are the drivers located? This is what my system (an ubuntu 14 variant) looks like:

$ cd /
10:37 PM ethos@bc8470 192.168.1.100 [39.5 hash] / $ sudo find / -name "libcuda*" -print
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libcuda1-384.md5sums
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libcuda1-384.list
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libcuda1-384.shlibs
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libcuda1-384.postinst
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libcuda1-384.postrm
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcuda.so
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcuda.so.1
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcuda.so.384.90
/usr/share/doc/libcuda1-384
/usr/local/cuda-9.0/targets/x86_64-linux/lib/libcudart.so.9.0
/usr/local/cuda-9.0/targets/x86_64-linux/lib/libcudart.so.9.0.103

10:38 PM ethos@bc8470 192.168.1.100 [39.4 hash] / $

Regarding the no such file error, I think that because you didn't specify enough information for z-enemy to actually mine it looked for a config file, and didn't find it.

This is the basic command I use on my rig:

Code:
/<path to z-enemy executable>/z-enemy -a <algo> -o stratum+tcp://<pool info> -u <coin address> -p <pool password>

you need to have a coin address and maybe a pool password. Depending on the pool you are mining with, they may tell you what to use for a password.

No mining at the moment.

Put  -a bitcore for the algo....not -a timtravel10.
