@Salsa: I also suggested 1) earlier (also see a few posts back), but through a slightly different way, using different tokens to represent different "tiers".

Both our ways have problems individually. My way, (one asset type for each tier) if there are many tiers, the person seeking investments must issue many asset tokens, and will be impractical if there are too many options to choose from. Your way (one asset type for all options) makes it easy for investors to choose what options they want, but hard for the person seeking investments to prepare for all the different options (for in-game purchases it's easy, coz programmers can just code it in. But for real world stuff, it may have to be first come, first serve.)

But fund seekers could combine our ways: have one asset type for each option. Just use your general asset token for the easy-to-make stuff, and use different tokens for things that need to be prepared in advance like e.g. cloth maps. So maybe one guy can have 1 Base Game token, 1 Cloth Map, 1 Special Figurine, another guy can have 4 Base Game token, 3 Month-long Subscription tokens, 1000 In-Game Currency tokens.

I like 3), especially if it means the same "point tokens" can be used for different places, not just those owned by the same owner. Like, I totally don't bother with point cards right now because there are too many to keep track of.

Looks like nextcoin.org should be totally avoided. Too many "bans" and "block".

I won't use  nextcoin.org.
- me too. Lets leave nextcoin.org to such people like Drexme and the owners of DGex...  We have nxtcoin.org !
Looks like the trolls are at it again attempting pathetic conversions!

Nextcoin uses banning or thread blocks very rarely.

I personally have not banned anyone for months. I have given friendly advice within discussions a few times. So not sure where the "bullying" image was hinted to, other than lunatics spreading propaganda and bashing me over here according to their incoherent whims and complexes of inferiority - and the need for perceived authority figure against which to target their rebellion arising from immature self image. The banning policy is completely reasonable and I'm happy the current moderators are sticking to it. Nextcoin.org does not tolerate:

- offenses against staff
- threats of physical violence
- foul language
- other degenerating behaviour & mind tricks

It's impressive to see how well nextcoin.org has been handling the member base of nearly 5k mixed background folks. Such a bunch necessarily contains borderline nutcases and native troublemakers the resorts to deal with successfully are unfortunately few. By active moderation nextcoin.org is able to keep the level of discussion considerably higher and more focused than for instance the cluttered and depressingly incoherent thread of bitcointalk.org. I encourage visitors to nextcoin.org see this for themselves, ignore the sinister agenda that has lifted its head again and concentrate into constructive discussion where that's most effectively possible.

Quote me so that I have to honour my word...

IF NXT does not go to AT LEAST $10... I am DONE with crypto... I mean BYE BYE crypto type of DONE... going to apply for a job at a Central Bank type of DONE... jacking off to Fed Chairman speech on C-SPAN type of DONE... enjoy the days when coinmarketcap's list gets smaller and smaller until even Bitcoin is removed type of DONE...

You'll look sharp in a suit.

I used to enjoy visiting coinmarketcap.com... but...  what an ARCADE all these coins have become?!?!?     Undecided

Clone/Shit-coins keep coming out and start trading at $5... while NXT is still $0.06!?!?!     Huh

Ahhhhh... hope you guys felt as good reading this as I did typing it!!!    Wink

Edit:  I know we should not be paying attention to price of NXT in fiat... but that is NOT the point of my post.

If I make a altcoin clone named "SingleCoin" where there is only 1 coin then it wouldn't be hard to make it worth a lot.
You have to look at the marketcap, not price per *Coin

As a moderator who get no pay of any kind, nor do I hold any stake in either nextcoin or DGEX, I find this offensive and uninformed.
We over at nextcoin have done A LOT for NXT. It's the biggest NXT site with more than 4500 NXTers.

We barely ban anyone there

I agree, nextcoin.org has grown very lively. I haven't kept up with the moderation actions, so I can't say anything about whether speech is being stifled (Trolling and other behaviour of the kind also stifle's other people speech, so protecting against such behaviour is perfectly reasonable. But there are other ways of doing it besides moderation, e.g. ignore list or karma) I don't have any beef with dgex, or any exchange for that matter, since I don't use exchanges.

Personally I don't visit nextcoin.org much because of the lame name. Like, if fark.com didn't suck and had more discussion than reddit.com, I'd still prefer going to reddit.com. How about registering a cooler alternate domain?

... An example of those is that the above propaganda is not true. Peercover thread was not suspended, it was moved to trash folder as my requests ...

Just for the record before I delete the unauthorized advertisement on nextcoin.org ...
...
I think that does it for now... thanks nxtgt for visiting our DGEX sponsored forum and good luck for your business!  Wink

That's not the problem. It's commercial site associated with dgex

We should use http://www.nxtcrypto.org/

Nextcoin.org is not the NXT brand. The domain was decided before clear branding outlines for NXT were formed and serves two major purposes which the name hits point blank:

- discussion of coming cryptocurrencies and projects, "next coins" / cryptos
- discussion of NXT that was originally perceived as "coin" and pronounced  "next".

Nextcoin.org is a brand by itself, walking tightly with NXT, however there is no need to change the domain name despite many suggestions from people who mistakenly perceive it the brand for NXT.

Wrong, it's not "commercial site" although it's indeed associated with DGEX. As you can easily conclude from the popularity distribution, the association with commercial entity with all its resources included is an excellent propellant from which mutual benefits to the community and business follow.

- ok, ok.
We (me, Zahlen, Eadeqa, S3MKi) are just don't like the name nextcoin, and we are promoting the nxtcrypto.org.  Thanks God you can't ban us here.

Nextcoin.org is a brand by itself

Yeah, just some of us think it's a lame brand. Wink I don't think it's just us here, I think 'coin' is going down in the public perception. Consider doing some market poll (or whatever you call it) on this. Maybe make a thread with a poll "Do you like the name nextcoin.org? Yes/No", or one where nextcoin.org is compared with some alternatives. Maybe hold a contest for it!

- redsn0w, thank you for your nestNXT distribution!
Please, consider one thing - the fee of Asset creation is 1k testNXT, so when you send 1k, the receiver can create 1 Asset, but can't buy any other assets...  So it is better to send at least 1,5k test NXT.
