We really need to clean up that Nxt giveaway tread also...many new member are putting there accounts and getting no Nxt....I already saw some negative press about this from some trolls claiming that Nxtsters are cheap & Nxt is a scam...F*#king trolls!

It's better to disable that feature because some other sites like coinmarketcap use your rates to calculate stuff. You could setup a separate server for people that would like to trade at different/custom rates.

It's better to disable that feature because some other sites like coinmarketcap use your rates to calculate stuff. You could setup a separate server for people that would like to trade at different/custom rates.

makes more sense, coinmarketcap would use a simple moving average to filter these spikes
instead changing a complex system just to fit into a obviously insufficient calculation model.


ps/edit:
it would also make sense to consider the market depth (orderbook) to adjust the macap (at least a little)
to the real liquidity. if e.g.  90% liquidity is 30% below highest bid the macap should take this into account.
a simple solution would be an average (better a weighted avg) thru the whole markertdepth, also local
stored to built a depth history, could enhance the macap numbers very.

pps:
another qualifier could be calculated by measure the market *absorbing*
quality by timediffs. simple spoken how fast e.g. a big buy at a certain
or last quote will be replaced by another order with the same or better
quote and similar units. this demand indicator could used to weight the
average depth liquidity (besides others).

hmmm..., the more i am thinking about this the more it would be nice to have
such a macap viewer as an additional plugin to the client later. since a quote
viewer plugin is planned, the data could be used for this too.

Password I entered on registration is 11 letter lenght. Not very long, but it's not very simple (I hope).
Now dgex.com accept any password I enter and only first 8 letters are matter.
I think it is not very good.

- personally I also think that trade "at any price" is not a good thing. IMO it would be better to make a trade with all asks/bids higher than chosen "Quick buy/sell" one.

Guys I was very busy the last 2-3 days so I did not catch up yet with some interesting developments here and @nextcoin.org.

I will catch up ASAP.

Just to confirm that I have received bybitcoin's 200K and I will start reviewing the NxT Giveaway thread in a couple of hours.

Second, I am in talks with a guy representing a company involved in the cryptos ecosystem (especially hardware) and we are investigating the possibility of them making an exchange including NxT. Interesting part is that if that comes true we may even have NxT/USD pair!! Can't reveal more atm and I still prefer to see this as something with 0.1% possibility to happen...

Third, I am trying to hire a developer for implementing a smartphone client (preferably Android first). His wage would be at least partially filled by me (maybe we could use some funds from the bounties and other early adopters too, I will search about this possibility).

Fourth I try to recruit one more guy in case we find any other interesting idea that can use NxT API.

Fifth the giveaway in my FB group is going very very well - great interest by many awesome people around the world!
