Um.. I don't know what's up, but my balance is zero even though the blockchain is up to date and my transactions show that the account has received the Nxt that is supposed to be there, and nobody has sent them anywhere else either... they're just.. gone.

Is there a way to force client to mine his own transactions? So that commission would return?

Yes, keep an eye on ur forging timer and when u see only 5-10 seconds left, hit "Send".
Oh, still it is more a lottery. In bitcoin world miner has a choice which transactions to include in block, can i do the same here?

It's a known non-critical bug that is solved by blockchain redownloading.

So, when can we expect to see all the declared features included in the software, at least in their beta version? I know it can vary, but was just wondering how development is coming along.

Current plan is to publish sources of all base features on the 3rd of January and release closed source decentralized exchange. Stakeholders still can't decide. There is a thread on nextcoin.org.

I'm rewriting different parts of Nxt code, BCNext is working on refactoring the decentralized exchange code. We must fix all serious issues before launching the exchange. Frankly saying I hope Nxt price will drop and more users will be able to join us.

What do you think of the critical price?

~ 50000000 coins costs only 1 BTC, even they bought the BTC at double price as it is now, and add another coefficiency of 10, so the expected price will be about or less than 20BTC/50000000 ~ 0.4BTC per M coins.

Definitely those who sold and distributed at the price great than 1BTC per mil is smart and also benifical to Nxt.

Sell and profit now! All you own more than 10M coins, please!

Don't buy expensive than 1 BTC per M coins.

So as to arrive the balance!

I have a thought: Why Nxt use brain wallet? Maybe partly a solution for PoS forging security. As we know, PoS forging need to open the account, if we use the wallet file, the hot wallet security is vital for the user and there will be a lot virus trying to steal the wallet. Any comment?
NovaCoin uses secial RPC command "walletpassphrase" to unlock wallet temporary, in memory only, for PoS mining purposes.

+1: Brain wallets can be very secure if you know how to generate VERY STRONG passphrases. You won't lose your coins once your wallet (file) is deleted.

-1: Brain wallets are a way of burning money if you use weak passwords/passphrases. You will lose your coins seconds after funding your weak protected wallet. P.s. that already happens with bitcoin users and it's a matter of time until we see that over Nxt.

i.e. Brain wallets are tools for professionals, not for amateurs.

- did you try to use a weak passphrase with Nxt ? Didn't you notice any warnings?

I was talking about brain wallets in general, not specifically about Nxt.
