I mean the current branch and current coins, of course.
The worst thing that may happen is price goes down. And this is good coz stakeholders will start to spread their coins.

NXT might get killed soon by the ddos attack.
Nxt is an idea. U can't kill an idea. Wouldn't something like Cloudflare help with the DDOS on the website?

Is it safe to send Nxt now? Or is it better to wait until ddos attack and multiple blockchain branches situation has solved?

Does it help the network when I am running the client on my laptop? It is running almost 24/7, but am using it from work/home/airports (am traveling a lot), but am always running it when I am online and even if I sleep. Does it makes a sense? I generated 2 blocks so far in the last couple of weeks..

Where and how it is possible to buy NXT decentralised way? For now I only found DGEX and friends here or some thread to buy and sell NXT. Maybe the issue is that in description is that it already has decentralised exchange, but the state of NXT is not still implemented. Some Nxt haters said that Nxt is traded on DGEX only and the price is heavily manipulated. I don't know if they count Nxt Asset Exchange which can be used for such trading. Centralized exchanges is the weakest point of any cryptocoin. Nxt solves this issue by providing a decentralized way but of coz haters will continue to say that "Nxt is not traded on other ( centralized) exchanges so it's a scamcoin".

Not really, a node needs a static dedicated public IP, not for forging, but just for broadcasting as a network peer to help network withstand ddos attacks.

I would set 24h deadline and checked if in 24h the transactions is still confirmed.

There IS a difference. Data from nodes behind NAT can't be PULLED. As u said they help by rebroadcasting data to other nodes.
