Guys, I want maco to get rewarded full for his project from the 13M unclaimed coins.
If not I will stop promoting too and just pay my dev team (mainly to get experience so we can get involved in other projects too in the future).
Me, bybitcoin and 2-3 other stakeholders are the only ones paying for bounties atm.
What about BCNext? And the other stakeholders? Not to mention the 75M of Graviton to whom we must feel obliged of course because he is still in loss from the dgex business...
I don't like this..
yeah I wonder what goes into the stake holders heads!?!? Obviously if they paid some nxt to make even better products the price will go nuts high and they will be Bill Gates hahaha I have started to do a Windows program to run the whole client together with one double click of an EXE and have access within the windows program to all the features. I only spend a couple of nights to set the framework for doing the program in place using WPF to make it look sexy (here is a taste of it https://www.dropbox.com/s/clsavedw4y7pwta/phrase.jpg) but then I got dragged in my everyday work. I am a software contractor and I could take time off as much as I want to work on other things but then I get paid nothing and the bills, mortgage, family they need money! So my point is that I am sure there are other guys as well that can do even better product than me and if they get paid the overall nxt network will become better and better and the stakeholders capital will become more secure and more secure. Is it not as simple as that!!? The stage of the program is just only a basic frame at the moment. It just starts the nxt jetty server automatically on start up and can open an account by passing a passphrase. That's a great start because now its just a matter of calling API functions and showing the result in nice easy interface. If there is someone else in here with c# I'd be happy to resume working on the code with him/her. I have a TeamFundation Server for source control this way few people can code the same project without overwriting each other. I know from experience that there always has to be some sort of project managing and I don't mind to do it. So my point is if the stake holders want a program where we have one msi package (installation file) which will install the NRS + a windows program with nice look and feel and then user only double clicks a short cut on their desktop and gets a working NXT client without any java settings, star.bat stop.bat etc here is the place to offer some priceless nxt and I am sure we (I) can organize a C# team to develop a proper nice easy to use nxt windows client. Sounds like begging and I hate it!!! but with no money it be hard to have nice fancy stuff. 99% of the world population will not get what we are doing without having a simple one click EXE file to run it all!!! Sorry for all the exclamation marks but got excited here hahaha Looks awesome! C'mon stakeholders, make this happen

Now wouldn’t it be great to have something substantial before the start of a media campaign. As of now I think nexern will have a client within three weeks. Maybe you can work together with nexern and put it in a nice package. And I agree with Klee we need the white paper. Don’t know what others think about priotorization but imo: 1) Stable running servers and software 2) A nice looking client 3) Media campaign and if possible before the end of the month Pin Also: something beside exchange trading to do with your Nxt. We have some games coming now, but it should get out of altcoin country. How can that be promoted?

yeah I wonder what goes into the stake holders heads!?!? .. .. .. timeline? Pin what do you mean by timeline? When it be done? I would think for an ok developer not some genius but average one like myself it will be probably between 20-30 days to create a really nice looking and full with functionality application that can wrap around the current way nxt works and present same functions. Obviously a full open source project. Also it will include a windows dll with api calls so that developer can integrate relatively easy with other systems. I have not spend to much time on this just set up a working WPF window fom this open source http://mui.codeplex.com/and added a dll wrapper to be filled in with all the nxt API functions. Added a simple way to run the java and to unlock account, oh and to show that the server is working hahaha If you copy and extract this zip https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbrkd474aj6iqbo/NXTmanager_APP.zip into your nxt folder and make sure the nxt server is not started, double click the NXTManager and it will load the server and let you open an account. Not much in it but it just needs to be filled in with code now. DONT PUT REAL ACCOUNT PASSPHRASE it was never ever tested!!! Here is the source of NXTManager https://www.dropbox.com/s/q0tdxmswq4n1nin/NXTmanagerSource.zipHere is the source of the NXTAPIWRAPPER https://www.dropbox.com/s/k4vxi2o69r1r2i8/nxtAPIwrapperSource.zipObviously we need installer, auto updates etc yeah there is work to be done haha EDIT: Forgot the link to the zip with the exe, sry https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbrkd474aj6iqbo/NXTmanager_APP.zip

I am here, hoping to share my success story from NXT. I’m hoping it might inspire some people, and I hope it might help bring the community closer together; even boost the morale some. TL;DR - Thank you people. Firstly I would like to thank ByBitCoin –without whom, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for the opportunity to buy in so early. Secondly, I would like to thank C-F-B, and BCNext for obvious reasons. Thirdly, I would like to thank GCInc. While some people do not appreciate his services, I am very much in his debt. It’s because of his services, time, and his risk, that I was able to even share the following story. Lastly, I would like to thank those that purchased the NXT from me from Dgex. I am so thankful, both that you were able to also buy in at cheaper prices, and that I was able to shuffle some of the early wealth around. TL;DR – Invest, wait, ? , profit. So what is this story that I have to share? I would like to tell you about my dog Charlie. I met Charlie 4 years ago when he was a baby pup. Since that time Charlie and I have only been apart for two days. We used to go swimming and running (and walking) in the summer, and hiking in the spring, winter, and fall. Needless to say, Charlie is and has been my best friend. In July, Charlie was attacked by a pitt bull while we were walking through our neighborhood. Charlie’s neck was torn open and thankfully, the dog didn’t get his jugular. Charlie lived, the owner paid for the initial bills. However, a few weeks later my dog started to have a limp. I took him to the Veterinarian, over, and over, during the next few months and his limp didn’t improve—it kept getting worse. I spent over $1,500 to eventually get the diagnosis that, “Charlie has to see a specialist, I suspect he tore his cruciate ligament.” (This is Charlie as a puppy). http://imgur.com/6jabxnIhttp://imgur.com/CH6ZVH6To me, this is a HUGE amount of money so far. I work IT for roughly $15 an hour. It’s full time, but I don’t get benefits, and honestly between student loans, my apartment, and Charlie, I eat Ramen most days of the week. I was thankful enough to have scrounged up 1BTC in the past year through LiteCoin mining. Back to the story! So, I took Charlie to a specialist and was told that his left knee definitely had a torn cruciate ligament. The surgery was expensive, roughly $2290, and Charlie would never be at 100% again. The best I could hope for is 90% mobility. Sadly, he can never fetch a tennis ball again, according to the Veterinarian. I would like to say that was the ‘kicker,’ but, honestly, the worst part is that he has a 25-50% chance of his other knee going. (Here's Charlie all grown up)! http://imgur.com/AQdjrGUhttp://imgur.com/eAhNVSQSo how does this involve NXT you ask? Well, I was lucky enough to catch some of the very early NXT sales from the founders. I was able to take my 1.xxx BTC and buy 1,600,000NXT. I asked for 1.5M and ByBitCoin was so kind as to give me an extra 100K. This all happened well before the dreaded specialist visit. By the time that I got the news and had to schedule the appointment, I had to come up with that money ASAP. After talking to my local tax professional and figuring out how much I had to set aside for capital gains taxes. I transferred about 400K NXT to dgex over the next few weeks. I was able to sell my NXT (though not at the price I would have liked), and was able to cash out my BTC. GCInc. Was spectacular during this time—he was responsive to all my messages and was able to kindly help me get my money in and out within a very fast amount of time. So there I was, a few hundred thousand NXT lighter, my dreams of paying off my student loans gone, but my dog had the money for his surgery. Yesterday came, Charlie had TTA his surgery, and was home today by 5pm. He’s a bit doped up, and he’s in pain, but it’s hopeful that he will recover well. (Charlie Post-Op). http://imgur.com/dHWFeQvThank you to everyone for supporting this community. It has helped me keep my best friend in the best health I can keep him in. And I suppose, what I would really like to say, and what I really mean by this is that for some... NXT isn't just about making money, it isn't about revolutionizing how things are. To some of us, NXT is a dream, or a hope, to be able to take care of those closest to us. To be able to support those things that matter most to us.

I could do a german translation @neonemu I'm glad NXT and it's community made that possible for you and Charlie! I also have to thank bybitcoin, he's indeed doing a really good job as a stakeholder!

My installer for Windows 7 was something quick and easy to throw together, and just as easy to maintain. I had just started on the backend of a Windows client with auto-update and yada yada, but I'm an ASP.Net dev, not so much Windows Desktop. Threading is something that so far eludes me for the most part. It's good to see someone who knows what they're doing going down this road

Very small volume is a sign that all three NXT/Ripple/MasterCoin should not be compared by market cap. Distribution model is different and the actual number of coins distributed is unknown, so counting all of them is an obvious mistake.
Very small volume ... running in PRIVATE exchanges should tell you something. Plus you keep saying these coins like Mastercoin and NXT are innovative. All of their claims are VAPOR WARE. NONE OF THE ADVANCED FEATURES EXIST OR WORK! Even Protoshares is a clone, it is just a funding vehicle for something that will come in the FUTURE! YOU ARE PLACING COINS ON TOP BECAUSE THEY ARE INNOVATIVE, BUT THEY HAVE NOT IMPLEMENTED ANYTHING YET!! You should also place iXcoin on the top of the list because... we plan on implementing the same innovation. Like Mastercoin, Protoshares and NXT, we haven't implemented it yet! I know CfB has him on ignore but this is epic. Pin

where's the original guy that was working on a whitepaper?
Busy, spending NXTs he got in advance, I think... If Nxt price doesn't rise too fast he'll run out of money in a few months and will complete the work... Though it's a little strange, I don't think he is cheating. He is an economic professor in my memory, and he is good at gaming theory. I have read two paper he wrote. One is on the selfish mining, and the other one is on the history of PoS, which is the most important essay and review on PoS. What we know on his activity is: He replied in this forum on Dec. 4th, and wrote "Proof of Stake and Peercoin's Historic Significance" on Dec. 11th, and logged back here on Dec. 21st. What else?
