Shouldn't we reward the BTER owner for this promotion?

Yes.

Everybody says YES, but how to find who he is and what his Nxt account?

I sent the following email to support@bter.com:

Sir,

The Nxt community at bitcointalk.org is currently discussing your
recent addition of NXT to your exchange.  We would like to offer a
reward of NXT to your company for your work.

Please see:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg4581279#msg4581279

Would it be possible to post your company's official NXT address on a
page located at bter.com?  Thank you.

Sincerely,
xyzzyx

while this is very cool in general, why putting the bter-owner into a corner
where others could say this is a paid job. doesn't seems this like an interest
conflict? is this wise or do i missing something and this is usual?

latest news: an exchange in China called bter will add Nxt to their platform

http://bter.com/article/12

nice, I wrote them an e-mail 1 month ago, that they should add nxt

Amazing news. And nice job contacting them! It's a solid exchange from my experience.

Really, really excellent news! Will add them to the market view in my client.

What the hell is going on? Another "pump" cycle?

My total BTC jumped from 10 to 20 in like an hour!

And somebody just swiped all orders up to about 0.09.

What the?..

They were the first "official" exchange to make the move to offer NXT trading.

It would be different if we offered the reward first.  This is an unsolicited thank you.

It is just unnecessary. Generally,  people giving money to exchange is to ask them to list their coins not after the exchange already list the coins. Besides, Bter is an already established exchange, so it is not like they need some money to support the developments like NxtChg

If you dont mind me asking can you tell us more about your password. How long was it, was it real words, did it contain real words, did it contain true random. The more information the better. I would like to gauge the progression of the rainbow tables.

 - Did you use an online wallet (not on localhost/127.0.0.1), even once?
 - Did you use the modified 0.4.8 wallet from several weeks ago?
 - Have you used anything apart from the official client?

Didn't use the wallet during that time and I just found out about it given the sudden rise in price of NXT so I started up the wallet.

NO WAY to brute force a  20 characters of true random. That is the surest thing above everything else.
