Breaking news: STOP TRADING AT BTER! THEY ARE ON A FORK. I WAS JUST INFORMED VIA EMAIL!

It would be good if, every time a new release is made, Jean-Luc (or someone else designated to the task), would email the exchanges and tell them to update their client. I'm sure they do not read this thread very often and other coins do not require that many updates.

Today I forged my 1st block (empty one  Smiley ). I must say it was not easy with my stake.

I'm thinking of setting a bounty for forging a block with a small account (Small Dolphin Bounty ?).

i have a forging competition here, maybe you could enter if your balance was lower than 10,007nxt when you forged that block.

 Smiley Smiley Smiley

Thank you but it's not that small. Smiley

They are not on a fork they are just LYING to avoid paying me my 100k nxt they stole! OK long story short, 100k nxt never sent but recorded in my withdrawal history. It was a bug triggered by having two consecutive withdrawals with same amount giving out same transaction ID, so Only one was sent to the network.

Now on email going back and forth for two weeks they claim that they sent me the next yesterday, funny how it doesnt show in ANY of my gizzilion nodes neither block explorer, then I thought they may be on a fork but Thier public address 10715382765594435905 is sending NXT just fine. just a few hours ago....

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

the sooner we get the nexern client and AE fully released the better.

i dont think many people have any faith left in centralised exchanges anymore. once people hear they can buy nxt on a decentralized AE with out fear of loosing coins people will come flocking to NXT.

you could essentially buy/sell bitcoin and other altcoins on the AE too couldnt you? or am i wrrong?
that would be huge!

Cheesy

Couldn't the same thing happen with your client if don't stay up to date? I've been on a fork as well with my client... :-(
Some kind of auto-update mechanism should be implemented that prevents you from sending until you installed the latest version (don't know if that is already in the works).

I informed BTER via Skype when replayable transaction bug was fixed.

bter Customer Service barely type English, Chinese people contact their Customer Service via QQ(http://web2.qq.com/). It's the fast way to contact them.

Of coz we should.

msin promissed to pay the 10 BTC for audit out of his pocket.

Just wondering, does XCP allow off-chain (or whatever it's called) exchanges? (XCP to any other altcoin)?

If so, we could look at their open-source code to see how they accomplish this.

They also seem to have some other things such as a betting system, anyone know more about this? Would this be something worth implementing in Nxt?

What are the other differences between the asset exchange systems?

BTW when are we lowering the fees to 0.1nxt.

Since the reddit tipbot is ready and per tip is costing 1nxt, not very encouraging.

http://www.reddit.com/r/NXT/comments/1xsf9t/the_nxt_tipping_bot_has_arrived_go_ahead_and_test/

Edit: marketing with tipbot Imagine someone going around with 20-50k nxt and gives every user a 1nxt tip they see, it would surely make most of them to atleast try out/redeem the nxt. But would be better after lowering the fee to 0.1nxt first.

"Thanks! I'm going to enable tipping on all subreddits after a bit of testing.
Also, you can tip a redditor that isn't registered in the bot yet, and he will receive a message with instructions on how to get his tip."

Is there a reason why the API sometimes returns "not allowed" errors (code 7)? (Even though bot api is enabled) - this is on localhost..  clicking on the page again then loads the data correctly.
