I would like to see instantaneous transactions updates (even the unconfirmed). It's still pretty slow compared to something like blockchain info

just found an enormous flaw that could end nxt
im contacting cfb and will expose it after it's fixed for obvious reasons

what code base are you seeing this in?  are you sure its not one of the 3 injected flaws that were present in the modified & published 0.4.7e release?

yes, currently there is a ~15-30 min delay due to the old cron api fetch approach.
with switch to h2 by jean-luc, an instant db access is possible and on my todo list.
have to write a lua db gateway for this, no rocketscience but eats time.

I read somewhere that reallife work is keeping you busy. Did the ETA for your client change? (iirc end of the month?)

have to look into the current code state tomorrow. haven't touch the code and ide since two weeks, so i guess i run out of time to hold the date.
but i start working again on then client and more important, on the asset exchange as fast as possible.

I think we have enough clients as of now. Improving blockchain explorer would be more useful.

I disagree, we have only one standalone client for windows.

NXT Solaris , Offspring, dotNXT

And Wesley's client will be OS neutral.

Nexern isn't standalone, as I understand it. It will still require NRS server running

NXT Solaris is standalone. It can sign transactions locally and broadcast it to nodes.

yes, you are right in both. the explorer has a long todo list like:
marketdata, charts, alias extended search (the current one is simple), transaction filter and sorting, peerexplorer. a notification system
for accounts and transactions, customizable triggered and instant bc updates.

on the other hand i rewrote the client-code base to enable an important feature, others (like ethereum) are planing also:
distributed application. i think the best is to finish the asset exchange now and then i can improve the explorer like mentioned above.

edit: have to catch up first. don't know if the api or other important protocols/things have changed the last time.

oh nice. I am not upto date anymore i guess. Does that mean you can forge without sending away your password? or is it just like multibit?
