Regarding (NXT Stake) / (Posts made here), I'm the saddest person Cry

after Elmo Grin

I might be able to beat u on that one, dude.....lets go somewhere private for a smallest stake competition.
Pretty sure I hold more NXT than Elmo, tho.

I think Elmos just been feeling a little bit lonely since everyone ran off to the new forum and left him all alone.
That's why he's been chewing the curtains a little.....a swift tickle behind his cute little floppy ears will sort him out !

On to business: like all shitty times, this current panic could be a good opportunity for NXT.

Looking at coinmarketcap.com is like looking at a slaughterhouse right now. There are a lot of panicking people out there, which means only one thing : BUY!

Don't even think about getting out, no matter how much FUD you hear.
I'm gonna buy whatever NXT I can, and I suggest u all do the same for 2 good reasons:

NXT is a long term game, not a pump and dump. 3 months from now, no-one will care about NXT's price today.

Looking at CMC, NXT is actually doing better than a lot of other cryptos: 25-35% losses seem normal at the moment, NXT is down 15%, and the trade volume is only $90,000.
If some HODL and buy action can get NXT into the green, a lot of investors will rush to NXT as a safe haven, pushing it even higher.

So: don't lose your heads, play the long game, pick up some cheap NXT.

how sick can you be to advice people to buy now! dont you have organisations in your country that help people like you?

bitcoind bugs

At least dogecoind is not working like it says it should, or I didnt configure it right. Since multisig DOGE transactions are probably pretty low on the list of DOGE priorities, my guess is that I cannot rely on dogecoind to properly track multisig transactions. This means an entirely new module to parse and track raw bitcoind transactions...

Not sure how long it will delay things, but more than a day, thats for sure.

I keep hearing about P2SH transactions, but I am not sure if the bitcoind forks will support them at all. If anybody knows, I'd appreciate some pointers. The 2 of 3 multisig seems to be there for the vast majority of coins, so I would like to stick with that. However, based on some XCP vs BTC battles, some scenarios have multisig transactions being deprecated in the future! Not sure how credible the threat is, but clearly this affects the design of things.

I guess I could always virtualize the "multisigness" of each coin, but that would add more delays...

James

P.S. Things seem so different now, with this thread turning into a donkey show. Takes a lot more work for me to keep up on the other forum, so I usually dont.

So, when I buy Bitcoins and sell NXTs when the price is negative, I will get negative Bitcoins?

Elmo: you must have heard of the most basic rule of trading:

Buy low, sell high.

Now is low, we buy..later is high, we sell.

(well actually, I'm gonna hodl till my wallet bursts, tbh, but u know what I mean)

Thanks! Now it is almost like it used to be, I can catch up while waiting for uploads.
Is there a way to specify how far back to display on a page?

I have an idea!
How hard would it be to make a bot that cross posts all the posts from the new forum to this thread?
It would give us good exposure and new NXT'ers
Since almost everybody is over there now, it wont matter that a copy is being generated here

Well, and how do we handle answers? Because i guarantee you, that there will be answers to posts and the people will never see them. Wink

probably a bit harder to cross post from here back to the forum, but with a few people telling newbies where the active forum is

could you create a function so that any posts copied from here come with a link like

to ask a question about this post simply reply with "@question @(name of thread)" at the top of your post

example post looks like (see below)

@question @(name of thread) <<  bot sees this and reposts the post on the correct thread in nxtforum.org

"i would like to know.. bla bla bla"

---------------

and when some one replies on nxtforum.org the bot will automatically repost the answer to this thread?

now that would be sick lol
Since wesleyh setup the forum, he would need to answer specifics, but generally speaking posting from the other forum with a URL to the source post in the nxt forum shouldnt be too hard. It also adds a promotional URL to new NXT forum with each post (500+ per day)

Going the other way would be messy, involving parsing raw HTML of this site, yuk.

It also fixes the "NXT thread belongs to farm animals" problem

tis sad how a thirty million dollar project that may reach billions of $ was treated with such seriousness, enthusiasm and discussion is now nothing but sucking a troll's dick...
last FIFTY pages have had nothing but conversations and jokes about emule
he was successful on derailing a thread/project

It's because a lot of discussion are now on the dedicated forum.

If we'd actually had the balls to lock this thread and leave when we got nxtforum.org up and running, the whole Elmo thing wouldn't have been an issue.

As it is, I suggest that everyone adds this to their posts for the last few pages:
