It is nothing but a clone and Hazard does not have the dev skills to create anything unique for this coin (or any coins) in the future.  He will most likely not even be able to maintain the network again so invest at your own risk.
Who said that it was created by Hazard and not me?
Or it may have been Satoshi.  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

This is a scam coin created by Hazard, beware..
Why do you think that?
It is nothing but a clone and Hazard does not have the dev skills to create anything unique for this coin (or any coins) in the future.  He will most likely not even be able to maintain the network again so invest at your own risk.
A clone? Artos has proposed a fairly significant overhaul to the transaction system. No other coin has even attempted to do such a thing. Do your research before you post such drivel. If you want to talk about boring clones, let's start with megacoin! If your head wasn't stuck so far up kimoto's ass, perhaps you would have seen this opportunity... I understand you're upset because SBC is rallying while MEC is tanking, as I predicted... But don't worry, there's still time. The coin is still undervalued. Still not even at 1m yet: http://coinmarketcap.com/

PS: Keep the conspiracy theories coming, I love them. Cheesy

Now why would we waste time discussing clones?  Regardless MegaCoin is more about the community and marketing efforts than anything else, but that isn't to say it is lacking in development.  Considering what it has done to set its client apart from all the other Scrypt coins, it skins over the clone aspect quite nicely.  Also if you predicted MEC tanking; did you also predict its exponential growth over the last month?  MEC is still worth much more than it was weighted against BTC or USD than it was less than a month ago.  We should all be civil; not spreading FUD within currency communities.

Regardless I am glad to see Artos has returned and is alive and well.  Best of luck to the development of StableCoin and it's related services.

Stable clone is rising fast. Price is 14 cents right now and it was only a few cents yesterday! I can easily see this going to a few dollars very soon!

Definitely $1 in the near future. All alts are down right now, so I don't know.

GLOBAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

I'm excited to announce that our global awareness campaign is scheduled to begin within the next 24 hours. The goal is simple - to expand awareness and adoption of StableCoin outside of our little altcoin forum here. Individuals all over the world will be working to accomplish this goal, both at a local level and through online venues.

As the new logo suggests, our first stop will be China. An old business partner of mine who is based out of Shanghai will be leading this effort. The Chinese have immense interest in cryptocurrency, and we are confident that once they become aware of what StableCoin has to offer, they will be eager to hop on board. 安稳币 is the Chinese name for StableCoin, and is pronounced as Ānwěn bì. You can check out the Chinese version of the website at http://anwenbi.com.

Finally, we are currently seeking out more people who would like to join the campaign. If you feel you have something to offer, do not hestitate to get in contact with me.

Huge news, exactly what I was hoping for. I could very easily see $5 per coin if everything falls into place. We've seen the Chinese pump so many coins to over $30m market cap already.

Huge news, but before you do any of that please fix the stablecoin logos on the different electronic devices on the Website. They look like an unfinished photoshop job. Just a friendly tip. Good luck to Stablecoin!

Is stablecoin going to add an option to mine from GPU? I can't get it to work with CGminer.
You should be pool mining at this stage. What's your cgminer script look like?

I think they may have axed scrypt mining in the new version of cgminer, so you may want to try an older one. I'm using 3.6.6 with no problem.

Try this.

cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:17501 -u username -p password  --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 10 -g 1 -w 256

And get rid of the block_ntime, block_nnonce, rpcport lines from your conf file.

This is correct. The last cgminer version with support for GPU is 3.7.2.

Crap, Cudaminer is for litecoin only. What do people use to mine StableCoin on an Nvidia GPU?
False... Cudaminer is for scrypt based coins, which StableCoin is.

The performance is really crappy anyway, might not even be worth the electricity (unless of course, you're factoring in future price increases)

If it goes up like the rest of the alt coins on coinmarketcap.com it should be around $3 or more in a week!

To be honest with you i think we have seen a slowdown in the rise of alt-coins for the moment. Although in 2 days (Predicted rise in Bitcoin) with new people buying in Altcoins might get a bit of a pump.
