changing the max money in one transaction will generate fork, new version will accept it and old version will reject it,  let's talk about this topic after fixing sync issue. there is still some reported issue about sync, i think this issue is highest priority.

more compounds  means more connections.

i has not tested why one has more compounds and another has less, but i has read the related sourcecode.
 
so far as I know, the client selects random IPs from IRC(irc.lfnet.org:6667, not only Pennies but also any other cryptocurrency),   more compounds means more selected IPs can be connected.

for example,
in your one purse, IRC allocates random 50 IPs to you, 20 IPs can be connected, you will see more compund
in your another purse, IRC also allocates random 50 IPs to you, but 2 IPs can be connected, you will see less compound.

i think it's a random behavior, you can delete peers.dat in your less compound purse, let it re-select random IPs.

if you find it's not a random behavior, tell me and i will review the sourcecode

There is another problem. If you send a purse where many connections, then everything is fine.

i will try it to check if it's a bug, many thanks for your report.

if you generate a transaction or a new coin, your client will broadcast your transaction/coin to each connection, it means more connections will be better than less, avoid delayed accepted or becoming a orphan coin.

the problem is still why your one client has few connections, i will do some action to make sure each node has enough connections, such as add more default trusted IPs.

Excellent idea since they no longer have an XPM market, CENT will be worth something again.
