After some time Doubloons wallet is hanging at some node and stays out of sync. Any bad node? Does anyone have this problem?

Try these in your doubloons.conf

addnode=92.5.105.68
addnode=192.99.7.23
addnode=192.186.136.118
addnode=5.165.42.147
addnode=66.189.83.47
addnode=88.161.131.83
addnode=62.194.155.87
addnode=70.98.114.237
addnode=46.151.21.226
addnode=176.31.128.78
addnode=91.237.77.7
addnode=174.53.218.230
addnode=91.235.254.37

Was there a fork? I sent some to cryptsy but they never showed up...

= same problem

The last block hash matches on both explorers:

Most likely just an issue on cryptsy's end.

OK! People, I’ve been following this thread for quite a while, and felt this should be said.

It’s time to stop this negativity towards the Catman and everything else to do with CENT.

If you can’t handle CENT, then sell them (or donate them), and stop wasting everyone else’s time.

Too scared to hold on to your CENT?  Transfer them to Swisscex as they have a CENT/XPM market (yeah, so they have withdrawal/deposit issues, but they’re a startup, so give them time and have some faith!). Don’t trust Swisscex?, then there are people on multiple fora willing to buy them from you!
It isn't a matter of bad mouthing, I want to believe that Pennies is going to come back. You think I want it to fail? I don't begrudge anyone who is trying to cash out or already has. In fact, I even said that I wish I had at times. But catman hasn't even uttered a peep, so it is only logical to believe that he might have just given up and got out when the getting was good. I've seen it before with other coins.

I don't think Pennies is dead yet, but it will need some work to get it going again. Simply having a working market on swisscex isn't enough. The buy wall is currently at smallest XPM with >2 trillion CENT orders. There was some good volume on Thursday, but nothing much since. The pennies trillionairs might consider setting up bounties of 50-100 billion CENT to promote the coin and improve the code if they ever hope to see any of their fortune amount to anything more than Monopoly money. Once the code is fortified, an aggressive campaign to get relisted on Cryptsy would be the best bet. Of course, this requires people with good English communications skills and social media saavy. Look at how well it worked for QRK.

Also, with the slew of shitcoins coming out on an almost daily basis, many of which are being picked up by Cryptsy and swisscex, what is the motivation for anyone to invest in Pennies? That should be the crucial question moving forward with this coin, otherwise it is going to be buried in a sea of junk. It is difficult to face reality, but without a solid community and developer working to address this, it is hard to see how the market will be sustained.

As far as I know, penny is the only indivisable coin. Anybody knows the benefits of this?

So, what is needed to be done before CENT is back on Cryptsy?

I very much doubt cryptsy will ever relist it the way things stand right now.

However, cryptsy's fork excuse is complete and utter rubbish, the real reason is that it was at the bottom of the XPM market with no real potential for movement due to the high coin supply and massive walls.

Another reason is because the stake difficulty is currently very high which is something cryptsy has contributed to by limiting outgoing withdrawals to 99m meaning that their customers probably have many more transactions in their wallet than they need to. (Lots of people trying to stake constantly keeps the difficulty up).

Because the stake difficulty is high it makes it hard for anyone to run a wallet with more than a couple of hundred transactions of stake age unless the wallet is encrypted and locked. An exchange will have a bigger problem because they likely have many thousands of transactions so the only way they could maintain a functional wallet at the moment would be to purposely destroy coin age by moving coins around the network, resetting the coin age.

I think the only hope for it returning to cryptsy would be for a complete relaunch of the coin with the currently minted coins being divided by some value* and premined in the first few blocks, the coins in the new version could then be claimed by the current owners in the same way that has been done in other coin relaunches such as ADTv2 which cryptsy has just announced they have switched to in their latest tweet.

* Perhaps introduce decimals and divide by 1 million, this would bring the total down to 43 million instead of 43 trillion and shouldn't cause an issue for even smaller holders getting their new coins.

how to display cents from the stock exchange? It seemed to me that you have violated 999.999 withdrawal limit, but I have 4.2 billion coins - it's 4000 manual operations on the output. Shit! Cryptsy!! I may want to buy coins - for selling or 0.00000001 xpm help bring the purse - promise to pay 500 million to those who really help me!Really!!Help!

Maybe lets hire some serious developer or pay to Catman to fix it once and good and it will come to exchange again.

Nobody takes care about this coin.

It must be changed.

Proof of Work mining is pointless given the current coin supply, a block generates just 1 CENT. Pennies is essentially Proof Of Stake only now.

Your best option is to buy some on the DOGE market on SwissCEX, alternatively you could get some free coins from my faucet. Send the coins to your own wallet for 9 days and wait for it to stake. Just ensure you keep the transaction count as low as possible in your wallet otherwise it'll become unusable when it's time to stake.

Code:
Original transaction amount * [between 1.0009 and 1.0014 depending on number of days since the original transaction] = returned value

Try not to go above 998 million for a single transaction as anything higher is risking it not staking at all.

"The upkeep of how many coins have to be stored in an individual wallet equal to the BTC value makes it very difficult as well. Many users have trillions of Cent coins, so in the end its just not feasible to keep a coin that cost more to maintain than what is made on the trading of it.

i have 10mil stuck in cryptsy and i guess il never get then. would be interesting to know how much the exchanges made from their wallets during the busted stake coz users never recieved a stake. surely that it self even now kinda pays its self. jus like forging nxt

CRYPTSY.COM wrote that if dev will divide Cent they will add it again to exchange ...

If the developers made a change to it, it could be possible but I don't see this happening. So as of right now we are not going to be running CENT anytime soon.

Sincerely
Mark

Hey we need to vote for cent to be listed on cryptorush and after that can use that as a springboard to be listed on other exchanges. Because its actually a good concept and to lure developers they have to know people still have faith in the coin.
https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=vote (can do 4 votes in an hour so please get voting people we can do this) its already got 1000+ votes

If anyone else knows of an alternate exchange where cent is listed the please let us know

Dividing balances would be OK, especially if Cryptsy re-listed. But in my opinion, don't add decimals places to CENT. IF you do, what has it gone thats unique from other coins anymore?

Oh hey, I also made a video to promote CENT 3 months ago and posted it into the pennies foundation forum, but I don't think they exist anymore and I never heard anything more about it. I'll try and dig it up and share, could help with the relaunch.

Does anyone know where to find https://github.com/foocoin/deps.git anymore? I'm pretty new to this and this compilation seems a lot easier than installing all of the dependencies myself.

I'll be getting that up on RazorLove's github eventually, shake misplaced the original...

any update on this?
