Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

And you account for the 1100+ block variance how? You may be synced but not on the right fork.

Looks like there's gonna be a wall built at 3 now... That's the problem when something gets valued this low.  Every time the value goes up or down by even just 1, it's a huge profit or loss.  Until there's another use for the coin or a popularity rise I don't see it getting very high...

They cant deposit again Smiley they did old deposits Smiley i think they are limited it , because dont want to make price lower than 3 xpm Smiley they have a lot of cents and they prefer to sell  at 3 not at 1 Wink if they allow all deposits old and new it will fall to 1 Wink it is good method also i think Smiley

They will make next deposit in one week maybe two Smiley and situation will be again same as long as they will not sell everything at 3 i think Smiley

I think I already tried this a couple of days back. I am downloading now and will update here when done.

Do I just replace the new files or do I also need to have a pennies.conf? If so could you please tell me what goes in it?

Does this DB folder replace the previous one?

Thanks

Who's building this exchange? Are they on this forum?  I wouldn't mind seeing pennies trading elsewhere.  I think once that happens, pennies can finally grow.
There's just so many sitting on cryptsy in sell orders that the majority of people are probably not wanting to risk trying to overcome many of the walls.
If people have somewhere else to trade their pennies. Some of the sell orders may shrink, allowing pennies to fluctuate like the other currencies.
If there really are supposed to only be 40~trillion, then it's definitely undervalued and has room to grow, but something will have to change to allow that to happen.

Cryptocurrency: Investing in Pennies (CENT) Altcoin on Cryptsy.com
Delt offentlig  -  27. des. 2013

Forget Wallstreet! You are a Genius

If you are reading this, you are a genius. You discovered Pennies (CENT), the altcoin cryptocurrency poised for the most explosive growth of any investment opportunity in the history of the universe. Only the world’s best and brightest investors see the amazing opportunity that lies ahead. Nearly everyone else will dismiss this one-time opportunity as “too good to be true.”  But we know it’s real and we’ll tell you why.

Incredible Investment Opportunity

If you are researching Pennies (CENT) cryptocurrency for the first time, you are among the world’s most intelligent investors. You obviously have the intuition and foresight that only the most elite investors possess. Investing big in Pennies is counter-intuitive to most people because everyone thinks “pennies” are worthless. But you are clearly better at Math than everyone else! You know that owning 1 Billion pennies makes you a Millionaire! And owning 1 Trillion pennies makes you a Billionaire! To us, it’s obvious. Pennies are currently less than dirt cheap and within the reach of almost every investor. But the price of Pennies may not stay this low much longer. Don’t miss this easy opportunity to potentially set yourself up to live the life you dream of.

____________________________________________

WARNING: The paragraph below is highly speculative and is probably just a made up story. We share it here for entertainment only.

Conspiracy Speculation

Some have reported there may be an unethical worldwide network of underground cryptocurrency con artists organizing a conspiracy attempt to take over the Pennies altcoin market. Obviously this potential group of high tech con artists is attempting to outsmart people by making everyone think the Pennies altcoin is “worthless”. There are indications of possible ties to the black market because using the word “pennies” to trade illegal goods and services in their underground economy confuses the authorities. The black market thrives because the authorities might be preconditioned to dismiss this form of illegal trade, assuming “pennies are worthless” and therefore could never be used to buy drugs or weapons. This possible group of computer hackers and tech thieves might be conspiring together by posting lies about Pennies on blogs and forums all over the Internet, posing as “cryptocurrency experts” or “altcoin developers”. There are reports of them saying the original developer that started Pennies was a scammer and “pre-mined” or conducted a “hidden launch” when creating the coins, referring to the Pennies as a “scamcoin”. They also try to convince people there are “way too many” Penny coins, which makes them worthless. There are also reports that state the Pennies computer-code is flawed. Obviously they have a secret and selfish goal in mind; they are trying to keep the price of Pennies as low as possible to gobble up as many cheap Penny altcoins as they can afford before the price goes way up. Only a few of us see their conspiracy and will outsmart them.
_________________________________________

The Very Real Predictions

While the story above is interesting to imagine, there are very clear real predictions suggesting why the Penny altcoin may be the most actively traded and valuable international currency in the future. Many cryptocurrency experts agree that by far the first and largest group that may likely be majorly impacted in a positive way by cryptocurrency are developing nations--the very people who have the least amount of money and essentially no access to a currency market--again this is counter-intuitive to the average investor. These people groups are often oppressed for economic or political reasons, restricting access to an available, useful currency. Adding to the problem is the lack of access to technology that prevents these people groups from connection to each other and the rest of the world .  Through improvements in technology, many people in developing nations will likely begin to gain rapid access to inexpensive phones that can trade Pennies currency, not through the Internet directly, but through SMS text messages which requires significantly less investment in infrastructure normally required for Internet connectivity. This suggests the growth in use of Pennies may likely explode onto the scenes faster than anyone could imagine.

Billions of People need Trillions of Pennies

Many people in the developed world are simply unaware the World population grew to 7.06 billion by mid-2012 after having passed the 7 billion mark in 2011. Developing countries accounted for 97 percent of this growth because of the dual effects of high birth rates and young populations. Conversely, in the developed countries the annual number of births barely exceeds deaths because of low birth rates and much older populations. Clearly the number of people in the developing world is trending upward exponentially. This suggests that a currency will be needed to meet this ever increasing demand for a reliable and stable currency (free from government manipulation and corruption) which can even be used across borders and around the world for trade. Is this massive market going to buy Bitcoin? The vast majority of the world can’t even afford the smallest fraction of a Bitcoin! Or most other cryptocurrency coins, for that matter, especially as the value of cryptocurrency altcoins booms. This is where the potential value of the Pennies altcoin “shines” through.

The Solution and Opportunity

The vast majority of the world needs a stable and reliable currency for micro-transactions. Most economies in developing nations don’t operate in money equivalent to the US dollar, they operate in the equivalent of US cents. For example, in China many entry level workers start as low as 23 cents per hour. While we hope that developing nations are able to continue to develop and create better jobs and conditions for workers, we clearly see that the Bitcoin, Litecoin or most other altcoins can’t be broken down to small enough fractions for places like China, with an estimated population of 1.35 Billion.  This is especially true when recognizing the future value of altcoins will skyrockets and become even further out of reach for micro-transactions in developing countries. Assuming Pennies increase in value to approximately 1 cent USD and become a primary currency for trade in the world economy, the simple math shows there will be increasing demand for even more Pennies over time! The final differentiating factor for Pennies is that they don’t break down into fractions. A Penny is a Penny. It’s as simple as that! And the world is begging for a simple solution that solves one of the biggest problems in the world. It could potentially make billions of peoples lives better, allowing an opportunity to be free from, or even escape, oppressive governments and people groups.

Investing in Pennies is a “No-Brainer”

For some of us, the opportunity is so blatantly obvious it is a “no-brainer” to stock up on the Penny altcoin. But we’ll let you decide for yourself if this really will be the biggest opportunity in the history of the universe. We think so.

My honest opinion is that you, the faithful who monitor this board, should get out at 3 while you can. There's no reason to ride the deposit dumping to 1 when you can sell and buy 3 times as much at 1 from the faithless.

When I come back I will be 9 times stronger. Let it fall.
