Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

If the Pennies explorer is down does that mean there's something wrong with the chain?

I think its more an indication that the site which is hosting the block explorer is having problems.

this one http://pennies.kicks-ass.net/block_crawler.php was down for me earlier on but i just refreshed and it came straight up  but now on a further refresh im getting page cant be displayed again. so i think its more the site that is having problems (or my laptop being a prat)

I have sent some cent from my wallet to Swisscex and they have now arrived.

So if any of you want to test it out, it should be fine, just send small amounts though.

Just a warning though, if you send any coins from Cryptsy, then they might not show up as transferred some from Cryptsy earlier and they have not shown up yet.

But from wallet to Swisscex should be ok.. Just try a small transaction first though Smiley

I sent them via Cryptsy... Do you think they're lost? And which version of wallet are you using?

I guess its your coins that just sold for Doge on there? I just did the numbers, Selling the same amount on cryptsy for xpm would of netted you 0.00000652 BTC but instead the profit was 0.00028315btc    or 43 times as much :-)

not bad for the first sale lol

I am using latest version of wallet and did a test transfer earlier, but so far nothing. Cryptsy really needs to sort something out as people will want to transfer their money.

Swisscex downloaded the wallet and let it do its thing. It works..Why can't Cryptsy do that either?

Just my thoughts anyway.

Sorry I am not laughing at you but at the situation! I will not repeat myself over and over again? When will you realise that the whole blockchain has been forged by cryptsy and they are screwing us all? Stop kidding you all and open your eyes please.....Why do you think they do not want to upgrade to v0.10.2.1-abe? Prove me that at least one time your current number of blocks ant estimated total blocks matched! It will NEVER be the case as long as cryptsy stays on version 10.0.0-abe or even 9.6-abe can't remember about that.
This is the exact same situation occurring in the BTC world.

I do no think they can get lost, I am sure someone can say otherwise. I think it is just a case of Crypsty has to get onto the correct chain then once that is done, then your transactions will show up. I am sure someone with more knowledge will correct what I have said though. But I do not think they are "lost", just floating about in the cloud until they get the right directions.

Has anything showed up in Swisscex at all?

Have cryptsy still not updated their wallet? WTF?
They still use 10.0.0 version and ride on their own chain deliberately. I tought this situation can be solved without argument. But now I thnik its time to accuse them. Now we have second exchange and cryptsy must cooperate with them and our cent comunity. Because cents on crptsy are imprisoned.

I sent to swisscex 1 cent from my wallet and 1 from cryptsy for test. Still waiting.

I sent 100000 coins from cryptsy to swisscex nothing shown up. Sent 100000000 to swisscex from my wallet because I thought they were using the latest version, 11 confirmations nothing shown up. I'm using the latest wallet but what could be going wrong? I tried using the pennieskickass explorer and when i search my txid it says "No information available about transaction(Error Code: -5)" Something wrong with my wallet?

Don't worry Misesian. everything is right with your wallet... Only trouble is that cryptsy holds billions of cent from customers stake (and I am one of them) and what is a stake? well it is calculated on the cent that you already owns. and it will follow it's owner if you withdraw your cent from any exchange.. If cryptsy does upgrade to everyone's chain they will loose billions of CENT that would then be returned to their real owner. But their politic is "what is on my account is mine" and the hell with the rest of the comunity. So they do not upgrade their software to match the actual one and by doing that, they interfere in the good and right functioning of the block chain on which we all are..

Latest coin wallet is 10.2.1, if everyone else but Cryptsy is on that client/chain, then Cryptsy has no other chance other than update. If they end up with less CENTs than they have now (which for sure will happen) bad luck for them. I am sure that the stake amount that they have from before 8Jan will cover for that more than enough. If it doesn't, then I guess they have to buy CENTs from somewhere else to make up the loss.

If they continue to refuse to do this then they risk to loose trust from people and they will start to move to somewhere else... ATM Swissex looks pretty nice (and fast btw) to me..
