Yes I did consider voting multiple times and sending alot of BTC. That is not a major problem given the amount of BTC required to win (looking at past numbers we would only need 0.1 BTC worth of votes, not a problem) .

But the voting here is not like mintpal or most other places ... They only allow each person to place a single vote. Each vote requires an email adddress, name etc... I'm even sure they record your IP to make sure you only place one vote.

Quick thing... Given the recent and hopefully not very long Globe price fall I have increased the GLB offering for each bounty.

I have also as Pnoch  advised added a bounty for Multipool. Anyone to build a Globe multipool can claim 2000 GLB.

I have been unable to connect to any of the pools for mining GLB.  I dont have a problem mining any other sha coin except this.  My antminer s1's will not connect to this coin... any ideas on wtf is going on

umm, yes I know I need mining software... the Antminers have cgminer built/installed in to them.  Are you saying cgminer will not work with this coin?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It is just like any other sha256 coin. I am also pretty sure there have been some people with ants mining Globe (there were a few 180-200ghs miners).

It seems I needed to use the entire address of "stratum+tcp://globe.suprnova.cc:3333" instead I was using "globe.suprnova.cc:3333",  Ive never had an issue with using the shorter form until now.  Anyways I appreciate the help.

Let's ask Sphere, who "controls" over 300k of taxed GLB, what his Global plans are?  He has been very quiet lately...

 

GLB is a scam, as any other Scam Currency.
I have never agree with the 20% TAX, BUT if the first idea was to use these funds to set a stability price, if was a bad idea but it was always an idea, a reason to justify the TAX

NOW, it's only a Scam, if GLB will rise his price, Sphere is ready to dump all GLB and make profit (and maybe current price Drop on Poloniex is due to TAX GLB Dump).

I wouldn't go as far as shouting Scam, but rather, non-performance, disappointment and a bit of deception.

6 months after the launch of Globe, and 3 months after the "Ready for action" slogan, I believe that we, "the GLB community", who mined and supported GLB, have to take some actions and make decisions.  Sphere has not been able to promote the coin - other than to do some lame giveaways that usually find their way directly to the exchange, upon award, thus contributing to lowering the market price.  

I would suggest to vote on either Airdropping all the remaining GLBs that have been collected so far - that we mined.  One Airdrop system could be to demonstrate the ownership of GLB addresses, at a certain date.  Then, using the block explorer, allocate to each one of those addresses a percentage of the funds currently available in the Tax bucket.    

Another method could be to give everything away to charity. Then, request Sphere to transfer ownership of the tax wallet to them.  They could promise to only sell at least 6 months old GLB, at a time, to support their charity, which would correspond to only 1200 GLB per day on the exchange.

Another method would be to destroy the tax deposit addresses by changing the private keys to a random hash (there are only a few deposit addresses used).

Something has to be done...

I agree, And I can't really think of another option. Sphere said he would use it for development/promotion, but I haven't seen any of it.

But at least someone is buying GLB again at the moment at poloniex

Sorry for not replying .... Very busy lately.

There is no max amount of GLB. I think someone asked.

To answer nerioseole I am planing to release a new version of Globe mid summer. More details to come ... Some form of ad campaign will hopefully follow.

I do wish to keep the finances private and as of yet don't plan to share the details. However, I do hope you all understand it is makes more financial sense to see Globe succeed over the long run then just dump a couple GLB for a quick buck.

I do agree promotions have been pretty lame. Again due to a lack of time I have not been able to do much recently. I will do a charity giveaway soon, around 20k GLB. I will however need your support promoting it in the forum.
