Cryptomining:
Did you get  your wallet fixed yet?

no, i started a new one, exported the keys on old one.  was going to wait for the new client to import and see if that will do it.

Version 1.3 Released. Version 1.3 is a mandatory upgrade, so please upgrade as soon as possible to avoid a fork. You must upgrade before the block 92000 (we are at block 83776 now - will take less than 3 days to arrive block 92000). So please upgrade now!

Version 1.3 fixes the PoS block generation issue, and it has the latest checkpoints. Download links for the Windows Client are updated in OP and source in github are updated too.

Nice.

Hashrate is pretty low and only 2 pools so hopefully no fork.

I haven't mined this in a while. I may start again for the hell of it. I must say, I'm surprised this hasn't hit an exchange yet.

new wallet seems to be working, I will update the thread again with my findings when PoS start showing up.

right now when I unlocked for PoS the cpu went really high so I just left it locked, if you find the same thing I will try to find out what the situation is with that, or bosian will post us some info.

If I had a backup of my roaming folder, would that have everything I needed if my hard drive failed? Or are there other files that I need ?

so i make a habit of encrypting my wallets, except now i get a message saying Minting is stopped because the wallet is encrypted.  I don't see an unencrypt option in the menu, is there a way to unlock the wallet without creating a new wallet, then sending my coins to that new address?

I was trying to find an easy way to backup ALL of my wallets at once, so that should do it shouldn't it?  that is where the wallet.dat files are stored?

Go into Help, Debug Window, Console and type

walletpassphrase xxxxxxxxxxxx 9999999999 true

the xxxxxxxxxxx is your passphrase that you used when you encrypted it

This will unlock it for minting and then it will automatically lock again when you close the wallet

zip your entire roaming folder Smiley  if you're paranoid, place contents on 3 flash drives that have truecrypt on them.  place one in a safe deposit box, another burried in your yard, and give the 3rd to a family member or friend that lives far away.

I have faith in this one, nice setup with PoS, superblocks and interest.
Devs seem motivated and skilled too. Thumbs up!

yes very important you don't trust all your backup to a single device, if it should fail your coins are dead. and this means be sure to encrypt the wallet aswell, encrypting the drive is optional but recommended If you have a significant amount of value you don't want to lose.
