I wonder if withdrawing takes as long?
When will the rewards get halved? At block 100,001 We're at 20,339 Looks like it's a long wait... Not sure if it's a scam but you can definitely do better in a larger pool. I tried it for a while and time between rounds is insane and very low payout. thanks! can you suggest me an other pool? Try multipool.us?

Chances are Doge won't rise until block rewards are halved.
Until then douchebags will just mine and dump constantly.
It wont rise until it loses its grip on the top of chars like coinwarz.com because people are trying to make a quick buck anyway they can. Theres nothing wrong with that if ur so inclined, but for the rest of us hoping for something special its a little frustrating. The worry is that this goes on for too long and stiffles out any rythm and surge the coin has. Im keeping to my guns with this one though, ive been a web developer and worked in digital agencies log enough to know how much power social media and viral topics have and its mind boggling.

It'll probably be 2-3 months. Chances are doge will go low soon and just mellow out there until rewards are down and it's no longer profitable to mine. Then it'll start to rise very quickly. Take a look at Quark. http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/qrk/btc/coins-e/1-year

What would be really nice is if EVERY SINGLE POOL worked together and said 'lets add an extra fee of .1% and add all of that into faceuts'. Miners wouldn't care (well they might a little) but it would got a long long way to keeping up the popularity and distribution of the coin and grow a greater sense of community. Even if those faceuts only distributed 10doge to each user daily it would be fantastic and would spread day on day with more people returning as people spread the word via twitter etc etc.

Fellow Shibes:
I've tried digging in some p2pools and I get constant pool difficulty change and stratum request work restart messages and few shares accepted. All my gpus are hashing at ~730 kH/s.
Is that normal? Is it worth it digging in those pools? I've read in this thread that some shibes claim to be getting around 20 - 30% more income but I don't feel it's working ok for me.
Much doubt

At this difficulty, yes it's normal. With p2pool you only need 1 share accepted/block found that is greater than or equal to the most difficult share in the block--something like that. Main thing is that only 1 share need be accepted and you get payout. It may take a long time, but overall payout is 10%-20% higher than with regular pools.

Do you guys relies how absolutely ridiculous this dogecoin has made crypto's look? new investors looking into crypto for the first time, see this, and they walk away i can guarantee so hope the quick buck was worth it, i know a lot of investors, with a lot of money, and they have been monitoring the market caps of all the crypto's and they have lost interest completely, great work! these investors were about to pour 100's of thousands in, now there not.
And your point is? The reality is they were monitoring. That's like a person telling a salesperson, let me think about it. They never buy. Regular folks that never heard of crypto are becoming involved for the first time. That is worth 100's of millions for all the cryptos. You have to be able to see the big picture, long term. Even TV shows are beginning to talk about BTC to educate people. Let your friends keep their money, not needed here The norwegian IRS has now said they will tax profit from cryptos, or give tax exemption from loss, which again puts it even more in the eye of the media, so doubt it will be going away soon. They only mention BitCoin, but will probably go after any successfull crypto. Interestingly enough But which coins survive on the other hand... Statement from norwegian IRS, in norwegian. Coverage in Norwegian media. Thread about this, and english translation hereAs for investors, there are so many people entering and exiting the crypto market, doubt it would make much difference to dogecoin just yet if people you know didn't invest after all. If they are risk averse, as your statement seems, they would have ignored the market anyway, since it is a very high risk market at the moment. (Going by fluctuations in exchange rates at coinwarz.com) And if they are risk seekers, they would invest, as they would also see, as digitalradz said, that "normal" people are hitting on using crypto, making it a high risk, high yield proposition... I just wish I started doing dogecoin a week or two ago... Much good, to the moon we go!

Right now, time to block is high everywhere and regular pools you have to be mining to get paid. P2pool, you are credited for 10 blocks. Example, I stopped mining P2pool last night to help Poolerino get a fresh start. This morning I received over 2000 Doge for p2pool work I had already done, even though I had stopped 12 hours earlier.

This is the kind of thing we need to keep going (media attention) to get Dogecoin to the moon. If I had millions of DOGE, I'd promote it by giving it away to garner attention and spread the doge love.

Cryptsy not even doing confirms on deposits now. Cryptsy confirms at 833 for hours and actual is 970. Feel like I've been had by a pink sheet scam in the crypto world

Thanks for this ^ This helped me look at cryptos from a different perspective. I so wanted to... The thing is don't let the government/authorities/manipulators/capitalists buy, they don't want the price to rise, because then common man will get rich and if one of that conman man is anit-gov, he can't topple their throne, close their industries. Edit: I'm sure they are coming after DOGEcoin once it is in their radar, if just 70% miners get united and pledge to hold, we'll shoot the value.
