From what I know (5 years in spain), spanish people are generally not really tech savvy, but he, porque no ?

Thats the reason why we've got the biggest market penetration in Smartphones, Mobile Apps, Social Media, and other tech stuff in Europe... and we're also in the Global Top

More than France...  Grin

Thank you for this post ! I'm actually really, really shocked by those stats !!

Not trying to be right for being right sake : smartphone is a thing, being tech savvy another.

But still, I'm very surprised by this chart. Thank you for sharing !

Yes, its like saying most of gypsies are collecting and selling metals, but none of them are metallurgists Grin BTW I was on Cuba recently, and having smartphone is national sport there

Don´t deal with crappy shitcoins and stop wasting electricity

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

why are there so many piece of crap doge haters here?

if you hate doge then stick to your coins thread... my god theres more haters here than on 4chan

Haters? Or realists? DOGE is way way overpriced. Great hype BTW.

The higher they fly, harder they fall.

i dont care about the price just people who bash it for no apparent reason

You just say that because you are selling or trying to sell. DOGE should loose most of its value very soon. And it probably will. There are many miners with 50.000.000 DOGE.... currently worth what? 55 satoshi's or 33k USD, yeah right. Some ppl are selling DOGE POO and trying to convince you its gold
Whoever buys this overhype is ready for mental institution. If they can't see it now, they will most definately see it when hype runs out.

thats exactly what we want bro the early adopters to cash out now for a few thousand let it get in the hands of the people

hell im not even going to fight you guys anymore continue to instill fear and panic selling hopefully the early adopters sell out
Not me.  I started mining the very first day and haven't stopped.  It started at nothing and has been growing by at least 100% every day.  Small rig, only 5,000,000 right now but these DOGEs aren't going anywhere soon Grin

Why would anyone sell so low. Doge is in puppy phase, and has already grown a lot..
Just weird. Or purposeful to try and destroy the market cap... Winklevoss!!

BTW. spoke to a friend in SE Asia a few days ago, jokingly wrote,
Doge!.

and they said, "I love dogecoin, I love dogs so."
WTH..?  if just some random person in SE Asia already knows about it....

**UPDATE**: Due to popular demand and just being nice people, we've decided to lower the minimum for eligibility to 100 Khash per second.

We just passed the 150 Mhash mark and the first bonuses are going out right now. The next level is 250 Mhash / 2,500 DOGE each for ten lucky people, so come join up, mine, and push us over the edge -- and earn yourself a chance to win some DOGE!

Updated rules below.

-----------------------------------------

You can make chance to win a share of over 1.8 MILLION Dogecoin!

So coin.

Such sharing.

All you have to do is mine at http://doge.poolofpools.com/

How it works:

You must have **at least one worker with more than 300 100 Khash/sec** actively mining on Doge @ Pool of Pools when we hit each milestone.

We will choose 10 random workers for each bonus.

When the pool hits these milestones, we'll pay this much in awards:

* 150 Mhash (we're already at 110 Mhash) = 10 x 1,000 DOGE
* 250 Mhash = 10 x 2,500 DOGE
* 500 Mhash = 10 x 10,000 DOGE
* 750 Mhash = 10 x 25,000 DOGE
* 1 Ghash = 10 x 50,000 DOGE
* 2 Ghash = 10 x 100,000 DOGE

Grand Totals: 60 winners, 1,885,000 DOGE

That's it. Tell your friends, get groups together to split the money if you want, whatever.

Many good shibe.

left dogecoin-qt open all day on OSX, can't get it to sync, help? PM me

I'm on mac (mavericks). The only way I made it work was by unistalling/reinstalling it a couple of times (it worked after after 5 times out of nowhere) .
The ".conf" file wasn't working for me, it was making the wallet not even starting (app not responding)

Hope it helps

With all of this arguing about whether dogecoin is garbage, trash, scam, going to the moon, going to be worth x, sell now, buy now...

Two thoughts have came to me.

1. In the 2+years I've been mining almost every time a co-worker, friend, or family member asks me what cards they should get and how to start mining, my cringing reply has been something along the lines of "Well it'll cost you xxx.xx to start, if you don't mind that it's an investment and you could simply have a computer with a lot of graphics cards I can help you set it up, but... at current market prices it's going to take you xx months to make your money back."

Except for 2 instances they decided no.

The crappy thing about each of those times is the decision was based on the value they could earn on the current price and the next anticipated difficulty of whatever coin they were asking about. In every instance if they had just done it as an investment, they'd have made way more than the equipment cost them to set up.

The moral is; despite our reservations regarding future outlook of any coin, the future is bright. Bright indeed.

2. The bashing of coins. 90% A large portion of the people on here bashed the shit out of litecoin when it came out, then solidcoin (well this one didn't really succeed but a good example of bash), ppc, xpm, quark, and almost every other coin gets bashed, slighted and slandered for about 3-6 months then suddenly it's an accepted alt coin.

I feel that the difference with doge is usually a large portion here doesn't even hear about or acknowledge "some uppity altcoin" until it's been around a lot longer.

Doge hit the ground with rocket boots on.

Edit: 82.327% of statistics are made up.
