**UPDATE**: Due to popular demand and just being nice people, we've decided to lower the minimum for eligibility to 100 Khash per second.

We just passed the 150 Mhash mark and the first bonuses are going out right now. The next level is 250 Mhash / 2,500 DOGE each for ten lucky people, so come join up, mine, and push us over the edge -- and earn yourself a chance to win some DOGE!

Updated rules below.

-----------------------------------------

You can make chance to win a share of over 1.8 MILLION Dogecoin!

So coin.

Such sharing.

All you have to do is mine at http://doge.poolofpools.com/

How it works:

You must have **at least one worker with more than 300 100 Khash/sec** actively mining on Doge @ Pool of Pools when we hit each milestone.

We will choose 10 random workers for each bonus.

When the pool hits these milestones, we'll pay this much in awards:

* 150 Mhash (we're already at 110 Mhash) = 10 x 1,000 DOGE
* 250 Mhash = 10 x 2,500 DOGE
* 500 Mhash = 10 x 10,000 DOGE
* 750 Mhash = 10 x 25,000 DOGE
* 1 Ghash = 10 x 50,000 DOGE
* 2 Ghash = 10 x 100,000 DOGE

Grand Totals: 60 winners, 1,885,000 DOGE

That's it. Tell your friends, get groups together to split the money if you want, whatever.

Many good shibe.

Why would anyone sell so low. Doge is in puppy phase, and has already grown a lot..
Just weird. Or purposeful to try and destroy the market cap... Winklevoss!!

BTW. spoke to a friend in SE Asia a few days ago, jokingly wrote,
Doge!.

and they said, "I love dogecoin, I love dogs so."
WTH..?  if just some random person in SE Asia already knows about it....
a few days ago...
STOP SELLING CHEAP

People have been posting about it all over the world

left dogecoin-qt open all day on OSX, can't get it to sync, help? PM me

I'm on mac (mavericks). The only way I made it work was by unistalling/reinstalling it a couple of times (it worked after after 5 times out of nowhere) .
The ".conf" file wasn't working for me, it was making the wallet not even starting (app not responding)

Hope it helps

With all of this arguing about whether dogecoin is garbage, trash, scam, going to the moon, going to be worth x, sell now, buy now...

Two thoughts have came to me.

1. In the 2+years I've been mining almost every time a co-worker, friend, or family member asks me what cards they should get and how to start mining, my cringing reply has been something along the lines of "Well it'll cost you xxx.xx to start, if you don't mind that it's an investment and you could simply have a computer with a lot of graphics cards I can help you set it up, but... at current market prices it's going to take you xx months to make your money back."

Except for 2 instances they decided no.

The crappy thing about each of those times is the decision was based on the value they could earn on the current price and the next anticipated difficulty of whatever coin they were asking about. In every instance if they had just done it as an investment, they'd have made way more than the equipment cost them to set up.

The moral is; despite our reservations regarding future outlook of any coin, the future is bright. Bright indeed.

2. The bashing of coins. 90% A large portion of the people on here bashed the shit out of litecoin when it came out, then solidcoin (well this one didn't really succeed but a good example of bash), ppc, xpm, quark, and almost every other coin gets bashed, slighted and slandered for about 3-6 months then suddenly it's an accepted alt coin.

I feel that the difference with doge is usually a large portion here doesn't even hear about or acknowledge "some uppity altcoin" until it's been around a lot longer.

Doge hit the ground with rocket boots on.

Edit: 82.327% of statistics are made up.

Mybe after a while if every goes well for DOGE, but atm 50 satoshi is reality

Well maybe for this month but I think 500 in January is not unrealistic based on the quick start DOGE has gotten

The thing is that coins "bashers" don't have any power on the actual value of the coin IMO. They're just hanging out in forums talking shit about something they cannot control themselves.
Like any bully, the best way is to ignore them...

No matter how much "hold, don't sell under x value" or "dump the coin it's gonna die" we can see here, bottom line, people do their stuff on exchanges without caring too much about forums comments.

When doge will be on BTC-E? What you think?
Next week seems reasonable? Would be so wow! Cheesy

so what Doge position on CMC? so BTCE should add Doge in before add coin like WDC, QRK?

even though to be fair DOGE volume in BTC is 3 times more than the next coin.
