Fk. I think my PC should be fine, might of been because my wallet was backed on dropbox =/

Oh boy.... You think that dropbox is secure? And nobody is able to take a look in it?
My wallets are in my dropbox too but in an AES-Container sich a strong password.

Ok so i have a problem. Whats my final solution to fix all of this. step by step lol

I use tresorit.com to backup my encrypted wallet.

I feel safer that way.

I wake up this morning, turn on my pc and my doge wallet has sent ALL my doge to the following address "DLY96EcXxg7go3apXvHitGPuY792mVGV1S" WTF i have been robbed !!!!!

Probably , ....sucks , probably.
But with the recent wave of newbies claimed to have been robbed just to get some sympathy and free doge .. I find it harder and harder to believe those stories.

Im not a newbie i have dedicated money into my setup and have been mining since late 2013, its annoying to think you would believe im lying when i have lost a full days worth of coins, i do pay a fucken power bill. i am not happy is there any explanation for this how can this happen ?

If you're using windows , lots of explanations.
How about you give some info what wallet/sys you're using?

Windows 8.1
I just upgraded to Doge QT 1.5 last night after the block reindex i sent my wallet from my pool all coins for that day. around 1am then instead of waiting for it to confirm i went to sleep.
Woke up early like 3 hrs ago and only turned my pc on now. Open doge QT and it says 0.0 balance but the strange part is, it looks to have been sent from my wallet while my PC was off . =/

How. I've lost almost 40,000 worth of coins.

-OK so if i add encryption it should be ok ?

Encryption is a must.
Also you'll need a full system scan before using you're computer again. Also all your addresses are compromised so forget about them.

And , if you can't switch from windows , and you don't have another computer , think about getting a wmware wks only for this purpose.

Fk. I think my PC should be fine, might of been because my wallet was backed on dropbox =/ ah what an idiot . doge was a joke coin and worth nothing so it was more a thrill when i first started and didn't see a need for encrypting a wallet worth nothing Sad ...

Ill scan my pc see what happens. so your saying Make all new addresses and update all my pools etc and forget about my "hacked" address ? what about getting back my doge =/ thats gone .. for good Sad

http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DLY96EcXxg7go3apXvHitGPuY792mVGV1S

clearly shows me receiving the coins from my pool and then this morning them automatically being sent somewhere else. they where in my wallet last night.

If the thief got access to your address , he will have access to it forever. You can't change the private key for it , you can't protect that address anymore no matter what you try.
About getting the coins back.... they are gone. 0.000001% chance the thief might get drunk or have a guilty conscience trance and send them back.

So, i completed a few scans and it looks clean, no key loggers nothing, cgminer came up but thats known.. It looks like my dropbox idea wasn't the greatest.

Basically after this next scan is done, i should add encryption (done) and make a new address, update my pools and i should be ok ? Correct

If I were you I'd format the computer and start again, at the minimum.

Solo mining appears broken in v1.5..

When server=1 is set in the dogecoin.conf, an error will appear stating to set RPC user and password, which I already have set, and it closes down.

Same config worked perfectly under prior version. Please fix. Much thanks.

I haven't seen that problem here. Are you on Linux?

Maybe it can't find or read the datadir/dogecoin.conf for some reason.

DOGESLED

Code:
stratum+tcp://http://dogesled.com:22550 or 80 -u [DOGECOINADDRESS]
-p anything

Trying to stay around 20MH/s guys. Help us reach that!

Pros

  • No transaction fees
  • Low Mining Fees
  • No Registration
  • More Doge / Khash
  • DDOS Resistant
  • Pools Cannot be conned by pool owners (Since they don’t touch any of the Doge)
  • Pools cannot be hacked (Since there is no running balance in any pool wallet)
  • PPLNS so that pool-jumpers will pay the price to jump in when the price rises and loyal miners get the benefits
  • It CANNOT perform a 51% attack on the system since it is decentralized

Cons

  • Smaller mining rigs (<200Khash total) operate less efficiently since the payout is smaller
  • Payout is not very consistent, (3-4 hours apart sometimes)
  • Just like any other pool, the more miners, the better it works.
  • Connecting to a node requires you copying your DogeCoin address

Hello dear friends, i have a little question : i'm actually mining at 7500 kh/s , do you think it's worth for me to go solo mining? What is the benefit if i solo mine instead of mine from a pool? (except the 1% fee which i don't really care...)

And my next question is, how i can solo mine?

Thanks a lot !!!

You need a really secure rpc password for it to allow it.

No don't. Its not worh it against 100Gh/s. Maybe if you are lucky. you may find a block in 8 days.
But DOGE has a random block reward. sometimes you could be lucky witha million coins or You could get really f**ked up with 20000 coins

I don't think it's worth it...i mined doge with 3mh/s and a difficulty of 7 and found a few blocks back then but as soon as the difficulty got over 10 i didn't really find blocks, at least i had less profit than in a pool...

In a pool you increase the probability that a block is found and if blocks are found on a more frequent rate your profit is bigger...

and for the second question:
cgminer/cgminer --scrypt -o IP-OF-WALLET-PC:PORT -u MINER-NAME -p PASSWORD -I 19 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 24768 -g 1

before i forget! in a smaller pool you also often make more profit because you don't have to split the reward with somany people...

so if you want to i'm just trying to get the doge.n0nplusultra.net pool started, you would be very welcome to join! Smiley
