I saw too many crashes to sell before 5 digits.

I DONT SOLD. I HODL.

And if or when it is "5 digits", we can buy tacos on any street corner directly with bitcoin, no need to switch to fiat. Smiley

HODL.

EXACTELY

then its SPNEDL

This is the best thread ever

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

if you mine in the usa you have to hold (this also sorta applies to china)

If I would have 'sold' any bitcoin from last year since IRS says it is "property" ie land

for mining I'd have to pay 43% capital gains tax if less then 1yr and 1day and 20% longer then that and the 25% gross income I made as a miner...anyway what my CPA said on new IRS rules...and it is retroactive back to the FIRST BITCON EVER MADE ie 2009...

if it was just 'coin" ..and you bought it...capital gains above is it....you take off the 25% gross miner income tax income from  you

ie in usa it makes no real sense to 'mine' with your old equip..you'd be better off getting a KNC virtual miner instead this year (yeah right like that is gonna happen)

anyway....makes sense to me now why we are at 400 btc or so ....everyone is committed to the ride up/dow/sideways
no way to launch the 'lifeboats' in the stormy seas of BTC

anyway that is for us that are IN/ON the ship

looking at the BTC world ...if I was a noob this year I'd run far far away from BTC from what I can see in the press (slanted thou it may be how would a noob know?)

Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Your friend was hoping for a fast crash then a recovery?

I bet it's commun to create a few orders way below the present price, just in case, you don't have to follow the market everyday and you get your coins when the market meets your prices

Placing "Mid Term Orders" always means leaving cash at an exchange for a long period of time. I don't feel good doing that  Wink

True but if it is 10% of what you make in a month you are not risking that much while being able to score big, maybe ev>0 and fun
