To: CoinPumper? So we can let you pump? You'll see the roll out of the new site and one of things we are working on is sensitive. It is a very large partner if things go right but negotiations are a fickle thing where we try to use perception instead of reality. Remember EarthCoin is not a product it is a set of beliefs. Sorry its not working out as fast as you'd like. I personally expect a pop around 4.5 billion coins created in lock step with EVERY SINGLE OTHER crypto that has ever launched. Not a mystery my friend. man stop posting while I'm writing about you... thats the second time. I look like a fanboy.

Sorry its not working out as fast as you'd like. I personally expect a pop around 4.5 billion coins created in lock step with EVERY SINGLE OTHER crypto that has ever launched. Not a mystery my friend. My nickname doesn't mean anything...just thought of a random cool name registering... Im just someone with a small gpu rig making a couple of pocket change coins mining... The amount of coins I have I couldn't even pump a coin with $10,000 market cap I started out mining LTC then some DOGE,had around 0.4 BTC maybe,I sold out all those and bought in EAC at 800 satoshi's, bad timing =( Now I have some coins worth 1/8 of what I bought them at, Im not complaining though... But it's kind of irritating how you guys write your updates and communicate with the EAC community... Why dont you just put a huge banner at the top of the OP post saying "This is a LONG TERM coin, there will be NO UPDATES from dev's until things are finished, 6 months or maybe 1 year from now. But it will be possible the coin will already be in it's grave long by then" Instead of doing useless no content copy and paste updates which just copy and pastes a list of places the the community has helped and places that added eac for payment. Wouldn't It have been better to launch EAC say like September of 2014 when you've already had a lot of progress in developing your secret stuff?

Well, to do it properly: Charity Valentine! As of the 14th till the 17th I am asking all of you to direct your miners for a charity of your chosing. Please sign up in the following thread if you want to participate. http://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/mine-for-charity/Thanks! I honestly feel like people are glossing over the stagnation of this coin and chucking it under "long term investment". This is a crypto currency and as such should be rising not boomeranging to its starting point. Hoping for that 1000% increase is simply wishing upon a meteor or a pumping whale in this case. We are focusing on cuddling Jaguars instead of thinking like business men and MARKETING ourselves as a viable crypto currency alternative. Go back and read the progress report the dev put out. It was all about things that happened LAST MONTH and nothing of recent only the same rhetoric of "secret project in the works" like this is some school yard gossip. No one is going to steal the idea because there is no interest and frankly the whole "long term investment" motto is getting old. Long term investment until we start struggling to compete with 3rd gen crypto currencies? You can look at the timestamps here: https://twitter.com/getearthcoinSo new Mac wallet released. Also spending time troubleshooting issues because people who have versions below OSX 10.7 can't launch (dev time spent) Creating page to organize the community to help with tasks at http://getearthcoin.com/teamearthcoin.html (dev time spent) Incorporated the Song of Love Foundation on to our site - http://getearthcoin.com/eac_foundation.html (dev time spent) Earthazaar marketplace almost launched. (dev time spent) Migrating from earthcoin.biz to getearthcoin.com (dev time spent) And besides updating the old site (that is up currently) I've been simultaneously working on the new site. Yes, it is possible to post updates every day, but this is what it would look like. "Set up local development environment. Database Provisioning. Download CMS and choose appropriate modules. Wireframing. Rewrite .htaccess and set up php.ini correctly, Worked on Desktop design. Worked on Mobile Design. Worked on Tablet Design. Populated Content. Information Architecture. Worked on Contact Form. Worked on populating footer content. Worked on CSS. Revised CSS for Internet Explorer. Populate content. Design graphics for Carousel. Design textures for buttons and footer. Retest on multiple platforms again. Fix bugs again. Populate content on the live (current site), Port it back to dev site. Go through more photos and icons. Write new content. Set up contact form. Set up Newsletter form. Implement Jquery animation effects. Revise color scheme for readability, Compress and resize images to balance between high-quality graphics and fast load times., implement caching techniques, implement google translate, implement internationalization/localization architecture even for human-translated content, tweak pixel values again so things move to proper place when browser is resized to different layouts, implement caching techniques, populate pages and pages of content) etc. At my workplace it used to take 3 months to properly design and site. Now we've crunched that time down to a few weeks. These are real-world expectations. That is just for the website. That's one project. And yes, there are multiple projects happening simultaneously. I joined the team coming from the community of people who invested in EAC early on and gave my suggestions here and there until I was bountied and am now part of the team. As someone who is just like all the other supporters here, I spent time just watching price and wondering why this or that wasn't happening. And then I realized *I* could make anything happen. Any of us can help EAC. I am working on EAC stuff in between my full time job and of course personal life. It has been a huge amount of work and I am in constant communication with the other people working on other EAC projects. Maybe Xploited can fill you in on what has been going on with the Android wallet. It is a little disheartening to hear that all this work is not appreciated (and I get it because only the final product "matters", but we keep moving forward because we know that once things are released, then that is when it will all be worth it. And as far as charities go, I've seen a few coins pick up on this angle since Earthcoin has launched so it should be obvious that it has value. When you have time, watch these amazing talks by Andreas Antonopoulos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2CsJ2HMA2Ihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTPQKyAq-DMThis is why I became involved in crypto, and it was great to be involved with a team that wanted to spread these beliefs and ideals. If we build out our core of supporters from people who have a *deep belief* in the transformational power of cryptocurrency, I think that is a stronger core to have. The people who will chase quick profits will jump from coin to coin, but Earthcoin has staying power because it has people that want to do good in the world.

Anything in my store available in exchange for EarthCoin - I am still waiting to do my first Diamond Jewelry for Earthcoin Transaction!
Take a look at my store and make me offers in Earthcoin! I will even take up to 50% off my current prices if you pay with Earthcoin!
ATX SILVER
Hey ATX, do you have any minted ounce/5oz bars? I might be interested in a few. For silver Bars I have: (1) Pamp Suisse 50g Fine Silver 999 Bar (30,000 EAC) (2) Madison Mint 'The High Wheeler' & 'The Nassau' .999 Silver 1 Oz Bars (20,000 EAC Each) (1) Hand Poured 1 oz Monarch Precious Metals .999 Fine Silver Bar (25,000 EAC) (1) 1/2 Oz Year of the Dragon .999 Silver Bar (10,000) EAC If you order (3) or more items then free shipping, if not 3,000 EAC additional to USA OR a Take All Price of 80,000 EAC For the Lot (Discounted 5k EAC) & Free Shipping I'm not very knowledgeable of investment silver, but I am strictly interested in 'Investment' grade bars. I assume these all make that cut? These are all investment grade, and rather collectible as well as they were limited mintages. The Pamp Suisse 50g Bar is sealed in the factory package and has a serial #. Others excellent Uncirculated condition. .999 Bullion only.

I do understand your frustration. We have a fella on the dev team who bought himself a bunch at 800 Satoshi and suffered the same fate. It is frustrating no doubt. BUT at 17 million coins per day time 800 Satoshi (with BTC at $700) that means you were expecting a newly launched coin to create $95,200 of value each and every day and higher (for it to go up). That is IMPOSSIBLE! hehe. Right now we are creating value at about $14,279 - a little low so this would be a plateau I feel the coin will have for a while. I personally think creating $14,279 out of thin air for the World right now with a 2 month old coin is INCREDIBLE. You will see some changes soon but I am seeing sites pop up all over the place regarding EAC and that is where value is. It can be used in commerce. The catalysts that the dev team has on had will of course benefit everyone but we slowly become less and less important and you become more and more important. So its been a little while since I've posted. For anyone that might remember I was working on the Android Wallet for Earthcoin. I've been silent for a while now, not because I had stopped working or forgot about earthcoin but because I had no positive news to report. Well, I finally have some news I wanted to share While I had managed to create the DigiByte wallet Earthcoin has remained elusive even though a large portion of my time was spent on it. While I wouldn't call making the DigiByte wallet easy per say, it was much easier then the Earthcoin wallet. As some might know the Earthcoin code implements the transaction comment field which complicated things significantly. The serialization had to be updated to handle the new field and with the help of HashEngineering it seems we've finally done just that. There are still some bugs to work out but transactions are working in both directions There is still an issue with saving the blockchain state to the wallet which is caused by the change in serialization but this is a huge step forward. I'll keep everyone posted as we iron out the last problems. A little sneak peak below.

Great to see Android app shaping up. Would it be possible to port it for Windows Phone 8? Maybe even Windows 8 as they share same platform if i understand it correctly. There might be some templates that optimize same app for desktop/tablet or phone. I'm not developer so I don't know how to do it myself and this is just suggestion. So no pressure to do it but I would happily download the app if it gets done.

You betcha! ebrPC5c1RddyCrWUg1q8EbAMcsnT5znyTq I should have more news later this evening as I work on wrinkling out the last few bugs. Theres some customization I'm going to make before official release on the play store but I'll get it into some testers hands as soon as the blockchain remains synced

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.walletLooks similar, isn't it. Its a 100% clone, like the Qt wallet, probably a few hours of work.I expected a little more than that. Something unique, after 1 month of development. By the way, the wallet seems good, but it takes more than that to be the flagship alt.

There is more coming. Getting it just took a much longer time to happen because Earthcoin supports transaction messaging (meaning there is an extra field in the blockchain). Getting the two way serialization and the protobufs to work properly on Android too a MUCH longer time to work and we believe we will be the first android wallet to support transaction messages. You can look at the devs' previous work. Our wallet was developed by Xploited and HashEngineering. Take a look at the wallets they have done previously (just use bitcointalk search) you can see that they have developed wallets in shorter time periods for other coins. Getting Earthcoin to work for Android was no simple clone. Also, there are more features, but we just gave you a screenshot of a successful transaction. The serialization and protobufs were what was holding up development, but the screenshot you saw is not the wallet as it is being released. Now that it is finally functional, the other unique features are being built into it.
