With ~ 2 minutes per block, there are ~ 30 blocks per hour
Block reward is 50 CATS so that's 1500 CATS per hour being created.

Multiply that by 24 and you get a daily total of 36000 CATS being created. (And we wonder why prices aren't increasing... Most miners don't invest so most of these 36000 are getting resold...)

for another 300 blocks that is. also your math is flawed or your equation is incomplete, the current hashrate (3Gh/s ish), is an inflation due to catcoin joining cryptsy and will not remain once the difficulty increases, the geniun coin hash rate is somewhere between 0.5-1.5Gh/s

I think he is saying that small miners with 100kh's etc cannot produce 1 cat coin a day even to pay the 1 catcoin manual payout. usually its 0.01 or 0.1 but 1 whole cat coin does seem very expensive really to small miners who have to use manual payout


Rather than manual payout fee i would rather see a small pool fee of 0.25% big miners wont feel 0.25 % but small miners will feel 1 catcoin maybe support the small miners who want to support catcoin?

Anyone have any suggestions on what could be done to reach out to other cryptocurrency investors? When the difficulty retargets, the supply of new coins is going to really dry up so the more interest we can generate in CAT by that time, the more we can expect the price to rise once the difficulty retargets, which it will today. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if we are able to maintain a price of 0.0009 with the present supply that prices will be much higher when the difficulty retarget causes new coin supply to greatly decrease. If this were to be coupled with an increase in demand due to promotional/awareness efforts, CAT may go to Mars a lot sooner than most anticipate.

CAT has a market cap 10+ times smaller than DOGE right now... There is a lot of potential here for a very large increase over the present prices.


Also, we need more memes... This thread should be a celebration of the great things to come for CAT and its investors. It's not too late if you haven't invested yet and it still won't be too late if you read this tonight or even tomorrow after the difficulty is increased. CAT isn't going anywhere but up long term, just remember that

Your wallet you moved it from, if it was the windows one, shut it and reopen it so it confirms, that worked for me as my internet went down for like a minute then it didn't auto update, then I made a payment of 170 to cryptsy and then had to restart it for it to get confirmed so try that first
