I vote that we rename Skycoin to Conspiracy Coin Wink

Hi Skycoin, thanks for help but in the early wallets I have there is no seed in them. I have new wallets as well and can see the seed. So for some reason not sure why there is just no seed. Unless there's something else that can be done maybe I should just scrap it and start again and re apply for coins again. What do you think?

It does contain an "id" and I can't find an "id" in the new wallet files, however the "id" : "contained numbers and letters" are overall shorter than the seed in newer wallet file. The "id" is also referenced twice at the beginning and at the end of file information.

Create a new wallet. Then send the coins to the new wallet.

You must have had a really early wallet. The first wallets did not have seeds.

The coins you have sent me were to this old wallet address that I am unable to get working. I have not been able to receive them because skycoin wont run with this old wallet. So I have no coins to send anywhere. You will have to re send them.
This is becoming one problem after another with no end in sight.

Maybe we start all over again and I will re apply for some more coins.

Ah. Should not be too difficult. Send me the private key or wallet file, to

BM-2cXFat4fHmeRe8EFJjY3Dzo6RoifcgiKgp

Then send me the Skycoin address you want the coins sent to

One major component Skycoin has left out, the elephant in the room no one seems to really look at, is the university system, especially the Ivy League schools in the US and the much older universities like Cambridge and Oxford in Europe. There are EU universities which have been around longer than any of the governments and corporations, and the Ivy League universities are older then the corporations and even the government of the US.

The universities are recruiting grounds where the candidates are observed, screened, and selected ones recruited into secretive organizations. Virtually all of the appointees and those who appoint them go through this system, as well has the top levels of corporate, religious, institutional, and government leadership. The universities encourage graduates to believe they are meant to lead and qualified to make decisions for other people and control their lives.

There is also a lot of control over what is allowed to be researched and published in academic journals. Scientists and economists who don't go along with what is allowed are banished and go unfunded. An interesting thing about universities is the amount of autonomy they are allowed on their campuses. They could be added to Skycoin's list of organizational types likely to survive, as they have done so through the middle ages and into the modern era.

Skycoin has presented a good summary of what is going on, but has left out the top level of the heirarchy. The conflicts of the various factions are the result of this top level encouraging the conflicts, playing both sides, and deciding the victor. Maybe he's aware of it but it is pretty 'out there' for most people. The two books which seem to present it best are The Gods of Eden by William Bramley, http://www.amazon.com/Gods-Eden-William-Bramley/dp/0380718073/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1444026253&sr=8-1&keywords=gods+of+eden and Zecharia Sitchen's Genesis Revisited, which is a summary of his much more extensive Earth Chronicles series. There are a few points I disagree with on Sitchin, such as theory of an inhabited planet in the solar with an elliptical orbit with a period of 3600 years (I think it is more likely a nomadic space based civilization which travels between solar systems at relativistic velocities with time dilation, farming the solar syatems in their route), but find his theories quite credible.

High Weirdness is one of my hobbies.

Update:

I am so close. There is not much to do. I just have to get through it. Then its all marketing and polish.

I will be glad when this is break even. Somewhat exhausting coding this on a shoe string.

Misc:

I am dealing with an absolutely bizare bug

"[skycoin.daemon:WARNING] Failed to record txn: <nil>"

The transaction error is nil, but the transaction will not execute. I am still trying to figure out what is happening here. It is a very strange edge case.

The crypto port is almost done, then will have auto compilation for windows and ARM.

There are archaeological anomalies which were definitely made with the precision of advanced technology, either from previous advanced human civilizations or off world technology. The most interesting is Puma Punku in Bolivia, with its precision cut stones. A lot of the ancient artifacts were destroyed by missionaries during colonization or melted down for their gold content. The Library of Alexandria also probably had a lot of interesting ancient documents.

Sounds like Skycoin has access to some fascinating material in the privately held primary documents he mentioned. The way I piece things together is to overlay many different narratives so the common patterns reinforce each other to yield a coherent image of the truth while the dis-info and mis-interpretation cancels out as noise. There seems to be a collective human memory which unconsciously remembers far gone events and echoes them in mythology, scattered fragments in documents, and even contemporary fiction which expresses common themes and stories from ancient times.

I would like projects like Skycoin to succeed so there is a means for those with inside information to be able to safely dump it into a publicly accessible, uncensorable space.

We listed Skycoin in Radar
Let me know if there are inaccuracies.
That is so pity that we still was not able to get tokens, though we wrote a lot both in BitMessage and this thread... Awful management of such critical process.

Update:

Bug was something stupid. Fixed now.

I am making rapid progress now, buy just focusing on one thing at a time and ignoring everything else. Too difficult to switch between too many things at once.

I like this website a lot. This is a very good website! https://cyber.fund/radar

Bitmessage is having problems. It may be under attack or I have no idea why some messages are not being received.

Send me another message on Bitmessage and I will respond immediately.

We are working on an alternative system, with an exchange integrated into the wallet. That will make it easier.

To SKYCOIN,
A few questions.

Regarding the coin:
Has the skycoin IPO ended yet? When will it trade on exchanges and where?
I have been following your coin for a very long time but I haven't bought in yet because of the lack of support.

Regarding your depressing, political, conspiracy rants:
Can you prove what you're actually saying about the world?
Can you give evidence to substantiate your posts better?

I'm not disagreeing that certain events you mention are not happening in the world.
I'm rather asking you to prove the malicious, psychopathic intent and conspiracy behind the events that you claim.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon's_razor
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

Isn't it far more likely to conclude that the bad things that happen in the world are simply a result of individual actions, game theory and the human condition rather than a global evil conspiracy? Or even bad things happen also due to market failures (that lead to monopoly). What you talk about reminds me of Mr Robot (Evil Corp etc). But your posts were here before Mr Robot.

Give me evidence that there is actual intent and purpose behind bad events. Give me evidence that there actually is a global, evil conspiracy. Pointing to random events is not evidence. Events can be interpreted in any subjective way you want.

Yes money and wealth and power always flows from the many to the few; as shown by the power law or power distribution. There will always be people whom are more intelligent or ambitious with their actions. Evolution favours these people, especially through sexual selection.

Yes, individuals acting in their own best interest can come at the cost of the group's interest and this threatens everyone.

But where is the evidence of intent that the people in power are pure evil as you claim?
