hang on guys... so 10% of the coins will be sold in the ICO? 90% held back, where 70% will be used "in the future". Can you guys elaborate on that a bit? I'm interested in this project, but not while only 10% of the supply is circulating. I also suspect this will prevent quite a few exchanges from getting involved. Maybe I didn't understand this proposed distribution... can anyone help me with that? I'm likely to wait until more than 60% of the supply is out there to jump in, but good luck on your project! (hello from NEM Xtester)
Smart move holding coins for 2CO and 3CO. I'm doing that with my ICO as well to foster future success over decades. How do I buy the coin and what is the marketcap? So there's and ICO to buy right now?

I wonder konw also, where is DEV... The distribution plan is one big red alert. If you must risk your money with this project, better wait until the coin gets to a major exchange. But even then... Number 1 rule in crypto: Trust noone Will you trust this dev with 90% of the coin supply? You can if you want to, freedom of choice at your service

Glad to see this is still going, I was following this back in 2013... There were talks of a meshnet back then, I see it's called Skywire now. Anyhow good luck will keep watching.

As a result of the community feedback, we are reconsidering important aspects of the Skycoin distribution. We will post an update as soon as we have reached a conclusion.

I am a bit confused with ICO. OP states "At 2500 Skycoin per Bitcoin", C2CX sells at 2000 per BTC, 1500 soon (when?). Now you guys reconsider selling only 10% I would love to get some, but this is all confusing to say the least.

on the website they say it's a community driven development, etc, but who is behind the ICO? Who will keep the money or who are the main developers here doing most of the work?
|
Stratis: Same supply as Ethereum + Masternodes + ICOs + Bitcoin a Core Dev. 90% cheaper than Eth. Do the math.

You can check the contributers on Github: https://github.com/skycoinLol those are folks that committed to the codebase not to the project management fund. They have nothing to do with crowdfunding and do not manage ico proceeds. Who is behind ... this is $1 million question. I could be one of the many self-entitled coders behind syscoin, I can also be the guy maintaining github account and controlling ico address. Im a dude u are looking for.

Is skycoin it's own vpn to the the internet that is decentralized, for example could I have Facebook running on skycoin network but it is unknown what my ip address is.
maidsafe is similar but is isolated in many ways.
I see all coins having a place on skynet and node will be running there and giving them extra layer of security.
skycoin can swap with any other coin ? use lite coin to may for some service on skycoin network..
In some way I can see the value of skycoin may be the value of the other coins that are held there. so a skylite coin or a skybtc on the network or it breaks into btc aqnd sky off the network??
skycoin being the vehicle other coins move around the network... That would be soo cool to have your own skybtc wallet running on skynetwork, help better then waves that hold your btc for you centralized like any other exchange. If for example 100 skycoin attached to one btc to create a skybtc.
Please note this is my vision only, as skycoin is in development and just a possibility.
I feel there is something really special about this project that my imagination has not though of as yet... I am staving for details and want demo gifs made and youtube videos.
marketing this on coin interview is my favorite..
