Have tried various settings to get a pair of 7990's working with this miner.  Best I can get is about 1.8m/hash out of each GPU (3.6m/hash per 7990).  Should be getting near 9m/hash per card but can't get anywhere near.

280x not a real problem, but again lower than others have with about 4.5 m/hash per 280x.  Should be closer to 6 m/hash according to some posts.

Any tips?

Windows 7 os btw.

coinmarket.io has lost my 1BTC.

after the nFactor adjust 4.5 is normal for 280X
but you should see at least 4 pr core on the 7990

Thought that the 280 may be right after adjust.  Can't get above 1.8 per core on the 7990's though.  Really annoying.

Tried shaders, addressing just one GPU, two gpus's on same card. Workload, intensity, GPU tune,  can't find anything that works. Huh

Hey guys, if you haven't noticed, the first microCoin gambling game has already been made.
It's a simple 50% chance game where you have a chance at doubling a small amount of microcoin. There's also another gambling game and 2 faucets being made at the moment.
cryptoga.me

And there's a linux wallet also in the OP, but I haven't tested it, since I don't have a version of linux installed on any of my computers. It'd be appreciated if someone with linux installed would test it.

hey guys I was thinking we should hire an artist to design a new coin logo for micro. I was thinking the design could be silver coin primary color. In the middle the word Micro or MRC. The background behind the word Micro would be green with computer chip like circuits but it would be overlaid by transparent silver. Tell me if you guys think this is a good idea. If you would like to donate please lmk I was thinking maybe we could hire the guy the created the logo for Netcoin

I think a professional logo would be very helpful in advertising MRC.

Earthcoin is a good example of how high quality advertising material really helps. You can see examples here: http://www.earthcoin.biz/eac_marketing.html

I think some nice flat designs would suit microCoin well.

You had to start logo contest, for sure...

It can attract many new MRC fans and/or users.

For example:

This coin should stand out from the crowd of ALTS released recently.

No premine, fair startup and allows others to join after day one and still get a fair portion.   No instamine coins waiting to be dumped as and when exchanges pick it up.

IMHO, this is one of the fairest launches of a coin in recent times.

What we need is people offering up logos, promotions and other associated uses.  As there is no instamine, and it is still very easy to get a fair share of these coins, I would hope that somebody with the skills or contacts to help out on the logo front could step up for the coin here and provide something.

I shall PM other contacts and advise about this coin.  Im very hopeful that this coin and its release gets to be seen for what it is.

I sure that you may try ANY existing Scrypt-jane miners, from QQC, VLC, Applecoin, YAcoin etc, thats use same algorythms... correct me if i wrong.

So, try compiling Linux one from here http://yacointalk.com/index.php/topic,350.0.html

Hey guys an gals.... Just a quick post to explain the significance of the blocks page...

I have had a few tickets with users asking what the red/green numbers mean in the percentage column so i thought i'd post here to explain to you all.

Basically look below (this was grabbed a few minutes ago from our site)...

The percentage column indicates the time taken to find blocks on average over a given time scale. 100% is the "expected".

If the number is red, that means the we have found blocks slower than expected (or taken more time to find them than we should have done). As you can see above, our "Last 7 days" are 100.63%. so we have taken 0.63% longer than expected to find the blocks. This number is actually a very good stat as most coins always run red overall.

Now, the last 24 hours have been at 97% so we are actually finding blocks 3% faster than expected. The last hour is 13.5% faster. This means you will have earned MORE coins than you should have.

There will always be some fluctuations in these numbers for the "last hour" and to some extent the "Last 24 hours" due to variance but the longer timeframes are a TRUE reflection of the pools "Luck". It can also mean there is a config/load issue on the pool itself causing blocks to be "missed" but luck pays a part too!

If your pool is well and truly in to the red over a long period (24 hr, 7days and ESPECIALLY 12 month), consider looking around for a more profitable pool. 110-115% is fairly normal. any higher (red) and you are really loosing some serious coinage - lower (green) and you have found a GOOD pool - congratz! Wink Consider this when pools sell themselves as 0% and yet run at 130+% on the time to block page!!

Hope that clears the mystery a little!
