A minor bug I noticed. When you first open your wallet the current BTC price is shown in the transaction list top area. If you click on a transaction amount the values and your total change to dollars based on the current price. Good. But if you click again on an amount then the current BTC price at top changes to be 1.00 BTC. After that each click toggles price between dollar value and 1.00 BTC.

Since 1.00 BTC is useless information I'd suggest the current price should always remain as a dollar value.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Also the iPhone app was approved finally Smiley (Not available in store quite yet)

Congrats!

Have you got approval for all countries?
Also - will app work with iOS4? I tried .deb release, but it crashes immediately after launch on iOS 4.21

Backup now with a healthier 6GB free RAM.

Did you get it from thebigboss.org? It's impossible for me to test the Cydia app because I can't jailbreak my iPhone.

Can you add support for bitcoin uri on your chrome extension?

Possible settings:

This should work in firefox (search only) but it's not currently possible in chrome because of you can only register custom uri's which begin with "web+".

Unfortunately not, the w3 spec whitelists certain common protocols (e.g. irc:// mailto:// ftp://) but any others need the web+.

Are you using a 3G (not s)? The binary was compiled for armv7 only rather than armv6 needed for older devices. I have submitted an update to cydia which fixes the issue

Ben I got this working on my 3GS, but you need to change something on the send bitcoins screen.

When I scan a QR code with a bitcoin: URI (bitcoin:address&amount=XX) your app needs to parse this and put the address in the right field, and the amount in the right field.  BitcoinSpinner and MtGoxMobile already do this correctly.  When I scan a bitcoin: URI with your app I get this:

did you get my email today?

This is a screenshot from my HTC Magic.
As you see the small crosses are missing, there are instead rectangles.
I don't know if it's a problem of the small screen or from the mod.

You can now scan keys from a paper wallet within the android app

Also you can now pass a confirmations parameter to /q/getreceivedbyaddress which makes it safe to process payments.

This is a screenshot from my HTC Magic.

Please try the new version and let me know if its any better. (3.03)

http://www.leethacker.com/images/1vnj1ztvg1flg0i1xfvt.png

Cool feature, though if you hit cancel on that screen it keeps asking you over and over. Any way to choose which address you want to send from, like with the web client? That would really round out the paper wallet functionality I think.

EDIT: Also, why not allow your watch only addresses to be used with the 'request bitcoins' feature? I'm also not sure about 'active' addresses and such, because that terminology is not used on the web client. Is it necessary? My watch only addresses appear on the 'sending addresses' tab, even though they're addresses I own. This seems weird to me. However I could always request bitcoins to an active address and then send them manually to one of my paper wallet addresses, but it'd be cool if it supported your paper wallets directly Smiley my phone camera is better able to scan QR codes than my webcam is.

I am using 3GS on iOS 4.21. I tried v1.2, v1.3 and v1.4 and i get insta crash. I tried to install through Boss repository and manually (installing .deb file using iFile).

Any idea what might be the problem?

BTW: Cydia is also up to date... i updated all dependencies and libraries to latest versions.

I have a 3GS with iOS 5.0.1 and it works ok for me.

Also the Scan from QR now works correctly on v1.4 with a bitcoin: URI.  nice job!

I just grabbed my old 3GS.  I've been looking forward to an easy-to-use, mobile wallet, and this looks like it.

However, it opens and crashes then crashes instantly. Sad  I'm running 5.0.

Luckily, I'm got an old bootrom 3GS and can jailbreak 5.1 untethered.

Until I get that done, I'll just keep using the website.
