Wow, I really liked the bitcoin value at time of transaction on summary dialog.
1- The data is from MtGox?
2- Could you add an option to choose other exchanges?

Yes the data is from Gox. I guess the problem is that Mt.Gox is the only exchange I really trust or use, but aside from that it is just a case of parsing their data feeds.

I'm browsing blockchain.info wallet on a tablet. When I open the transaction summary dialog, the only way to close it is clicking on close button or on X icon.
Could you add an option to just click out of the dialog to close it?

I can't remember why but there was a a reason why I disabled this behaviour for all modals. I think it was to stop users exiting without choosing an action. However that doesn't apply in this case, so i'm sure it can be changed.

http://pastebin.com/h7WFrMUY working on it, but I dont want to make it TOO hard to understand.

My Wallet = My Treasure Chest haha Smiley

Not everyone knows that www. isn't needed, and the www. was even the "official" URL at one time:

Thanks, fixed now.

Cool. However, as far as I can see this requires me to use your wallet. Is there some way I can request an anonymous forwarding address I can send to from my own wallet software?

http://blockchain.info/api/api_receive look at the "Create Address API Call"

On bitcoin value at time of transaction on summary dialog, could you add an option to switch from MtGox to mercadobitcoin http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/mrcdBRL.html
It's an exchange for Brazilian real currency.

Thanks.

Suggestion,

1- I see that on My Transactions window when there are a lot of transactions, the pages are separated by 1, 2, 3....
2- I'm using a tablet to browse blockchain.info wallet

Recently I was on Diasp site and I see something very interesting that you could implement on My transactions window. On Diasp (mobile version), in the right/left side of the page we have the icons < for previous and > to next. See: https://diasp.org/posts/1440597 (only works on mobile version).

Piuk, do you understand my suggestion?

Web site bug: The chart illustrating the size of the blockchain is incorrect.

Each timespan range (last 30 days, last 180 days, etc) starts at 0 MB, although that is not the size of the blockchain at that date. The only graph that shows the correct beginning and final size is the all-time graph (which looks like the hockey stick global warning graph, btw).

piuk,

On transaction summary window (value at time of transaction), I think you could add a green up arrow icon if bitcoin price is more valuable than the time of the transaction. And a red down arrow icon if bitcoin price is less valuable than the time of the transaction.

What do you think?

Not sure, need to look into it.

---------

Versioned Wallet Backups

The last 50 updates to a wallets are now stored remotely on Amazon S3. This is in addition to the latest wallet being synchronously stored on all 4 of blockchain.info's servers and offsite database dumps taken every 24 hours. Wallets on S3 are encrypted with the users password, second password, our secret and encrypted by amazon itself.

In addition to providing much improved redundancy, should any mistakes be made (for example the wrong private key is deleted) backups can now be restored easily from S3 in the [Import / Export] tab.

A couple fixes to the translations for Greek:

I speak Greek well enough to understand it, but am not schooled in it.  Thus I am only pointing out instances where the meaning is clearly wrong, as though it got mangled by Google Translate.

Be your own bank is mistranslated and reads "To -- your bank" (where -- means the reader will expect a verb and none is provided) and should say: Nα γίνεστε δική σας τράπεζα.

No. Transactions is mistranslated and reads "Transactions No" (as in, "Transactions Nope!") when the intended meaning is "Number of transactions".  better: Aριθμός συναλλαγών

Home is mistranslated and reads "House/Apartment". better: Kύρια σελίδα ("main page")

Latest transactions is translated to mean "final transactions". better: Πρόσφατες συναλλαγές ("recent transactions")

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

piuk,

I think will be interesting have on wallet home tab a mini pie chart showing the % of my final balance separated by:

1- The % of transactions of final balance that now is more valuable than the time when transactions happened.
2- The % of transactions of final balance that now is less valuable than the time when transactions happened.

What do you think?

For what purposed? For traders? I can certainly add it as a popup, it would be too expensive to calculate for the home tab.

I got used to the old logo so I like it but the new one is more original so I like it too.

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)

1- Yes for traders.
2- I don't know the best way to add it. I like the idea of when clicking on final balance, will expand a window showing the mini pie chart with the informations. (option to expand/hide)

Talking about hide/expand option, I think you could add it on Total Transactions too. When click on it show total transactions (sent) and total transactions (received).

About new logo, I didn't like it. I don't like the original too. Hope you find a better one.

Thanks for the great site. Hope you like my suggestions.

I like the ideas behind the new one, but don't like the logo. You need to know the old one to understand the new one, so it doesn't work.

Any Greek speakers to correct my translation?  I don't believe my translations are perfect but they are definitely better than what's there, because I am replacing totally nonsensical or obviously incorrect language with words that will at least be understood.
