Hello guys and girls,

i like to say somethings about this behavior here :

the major problem with you guys is that you transfer to muts totals of coins to exchange websites leaving to muts coins at those exchance site

dont get me wrong here   but mostly this behavior is like you are to "greedy" , i hardly recommend you to send/transfer not to muts of your coins,

my behavior is i deposit small amounts ( sample 5000 coins ) trade them and send it back home, i want to have control of my own coins, oke you have transfer cost but that I earn back with trade. so can you , rule number one : buy at low rate, sell at high rate .

Always keep in mind that if you transfer your coins to an other site/exchance or what ever website wallet, you are depending on trust them,
in a world like this it is sadly as it is but do not trust anybody in this way /matter with your hard urned " money" coins !

this is a good advice and its totaly free, and if you follow this advice fine, good, excelent, if you dont also good fine and excelent.

it hurts me that this kind of things happend to people,

and if you feel this whas a bit helpful in future trading feel free to donate som coins at my project, link in my signature, thats all

or setup a account at crypto-trade or Cryptsy with my refferal link in signature that way you are supporting also our project

nobody has lost coins yet. tickets have been issued, they will look at the situation, and once the log jam is cleared the coins will be accessible. This was talked about a few pages back.

there were 3 new coins introduced last night, with high volume, which was the probable cause of the delay.

Just file a ticket and wait. The price has been hovering around the same level for the past 6 hours so you are not missing anything yet. (you shouldnt be dumping anyways but thats your choice)

You call from .007 to .015 to .007 around the same??  Maybe it is best that you not deposit and just hold, but I have to take advantage of that volatility.

Traffic is always their excuse and they should know on all new releases to have at least 2 wallets for deposits...and if the volume is to little then scale it back, but whatever you do...do not try and scale up after the fact. That is either ignorance or intentional.

They added a second wallet to doge with the traffic from the ~250 spike and 12+ hour deposit times so they know how to do it.

You only make a mistake once, after that it is a choice.

Now why would an exchange whose whole business model revolves around getting more users selling and buying prevent that from happening every time there is a major longer lived spike in price?

 Huh

I sincerely hope that all it is simply a log jam which will resolve itself.  I don't see any movement on my Cryptsy account.  If someone hacked into their backend and stole it from the wallet that they asked us to deposit it into, then that it is their fault.

Hey Balls,

Before you get to involved thinking about the designs or your new bad ass tshirt, riddle me this.
Is there something I am missing about this coin?  With every other coin I am able to sell high and buy low in order to get more coins. Is that not possible with this coin?

One of the longest running, most trusted VTC pools around

P2Pool (recommended) and traditional pool available for VTC

P2Pool: http://vtcpool.co.uk:9171
Traditional MPOS pool: https://vtcpool.co.uk

P2Pool setup guide and FAQ

Why use p2pool?

  • Mined coins are deposited directly in your wallet in the generation payment for the block,
they are never held by a pool wallet and can't be lost due to failures or hacking/thefts
  • Even if the node you connect to fails, you don't lose the coins you mined - your shares are distributed on the network
  • Distributed (less vulnerable to DoS attacks, less chance of big pools having enough hashrate to be capable of a 51% attack)
  • Private (you are paid with coinbase transactions and your public key is never seen on the network until you spend the funds)

Feel free to use https://vtcpool.co.uk if you prefer a traditional pool. Especially, users with lower hashrates may find earnings
are better on the traditional pool. There is room for a mixture of pool types, but please help further strengthen the decentralisation
of Vertcoin by using p2pool if it works well for you.

To mine on p2pool, use your VTC address as username, and any password, so your command line should be like:

vertminer -o stratum+tcp://vtcpool.co.uk:9171 -u Vw44xQPqgwbqZVpRzPoHe6M4jAGYceiZZP -p x

Please follow the advice in the P2Pool setup guide and FAQ about setting your minimum
share difficulty - this will prevent HW errors and stales and improve your mining income.

The price is insane on cryptsy, if someone told me vert was going to .015btc on cryptsy, i would have called him a fool

And some people buyed it i week ago 1000 VTC for 0.4 btc... And now that its 15 btc, nice profit?

.015 btc won't last, the price is way way overvalued. There are some pro's manipulating this market big time

Would those be the bigshot pro traders, the ballers you hang out with when you're not running stuff though google translate and pretending to speak Chinese in an attempt to claim an (at the time) approximately 0.1 BTC bounty for translating a website, OP and pdf ?

Those big players huh.
